Author's POV

"Liv. Liv, you have to get up now." Casey said waking Olivia up the next morning. Casey had stayed over, sleeping in the guestroom. She refused to leave Olivia alone. Or Noah was there, but he was to young to be able to comfort her.

"Huh? Mmm yeah I'll be up in a minute." Olivia said sleepingly.

"I'll make breakfast. You have to be at the hospital in two hours." Casey said when she left Livs room, and went to the kitchen to make eggs and bacon.

Olivia took a shower before going into the kitchen. She stood in the door for a few minutes, watching Casey play with Noah who was now awake.

Olivia nearly got tears in her eyes when she thought about Noah. What if she wouldn't see him grow up?

She quikly pulled herself together, and went into the kitchen.

"Morning pumpkin." She said as she picked Noah up, hugged and kissed him.

"Maamaa. Mamaa." Noah giggled.

Casey smiled when she heard him talk.

All three of them sat down for breakfast. Olivia didn't have much of an apetite.

"How are you feeling?" Casey asked carefully.

"Uhm.. I'm just nervous I guess. Like it sounds so serious to start on chemo... (((sorry I spelled it wrong in the previously chapters.. I'm faroese)))"

"It's perfectly okay to be nervous sweetie. Should we call the rest of the squad to let them know?"

"I think I'll wait untill later today.. Fi already knows, but he won't tell anybody."

"Okay"

*At the hospital*

"So miss Benson how are you feeling? I'm doctor Murphy, and I'm a cancer speacialist. I'll be treating you here at the hospital."

"Nice to meet you Doctor. And please, just call me Olivia. I'm fine actually. Just really nervous."

"Well that's quite understandable. We've got the extended lab results, and we can see that this will be a tough battle for you. Your immunesystem should be weaker than usual. Have you noticed anything out if the ordinary?"

"Well, I have a cold, and I've been really tired all the time lately, but I just thought it was because I still was getting used to having a kid around."

"Okay. Well, we want to get you started on chemotherapy, the sooner the better. If we start now, you'll have a 60% chance of beating it, and not having any traces of it afterwards. But I have to be honest. There is a 40% chance of the cancer coming back."

"I understand. Gosh this is weird.."

"Now I think you should go home, tell your family and friends. We'll get you hospitilized tomorrow, and start the chemotherapy. Sounds okay?"

"Yeah, that's okay. See you tomorrow I guess."

Olivia was not any less nervous when she left the hospital and went home.

She phoned Casey who had Noah, and told her that she was on her way to the precint.
