"-No,dad, nothing is on fire." I replied.
"Then what's the big emergency?" Dad asked.
I moved closer to the edge of the basement so Ashton wouldn't hear anything about this.
"Kevin is going to a Medical School all the way in North Dakota. Now they want to send Ash to a foster home in Canada. We really can't let this just happen!" I whined.
"What's your point..?"
"Come home, now. I think I know how to fix this."
I ended the call and rushed upstairs to make sure Ashton was not paying attention to anything I was doing.
When I walked in I found him re-organizing my bed, pillows and jewelry I had thrown around.
"What was that about?" Ash stopped what he was doing.
"Oh, uh, ya know." I gave a little laugh. "The..library! Yes, the library was asking for, um, a book."
"Which one?" Ashton questioned.
"A Wrinkle in Time." I smirked.

Amelia?
"You okay?" Ash noticed I dazed away.
"Yeah, anyway, we should probably stay in my room for today."
"What, why?"
I nervous laughed. "Ashton! Stop asking so many questions!"
He put his hands up in surrender. "Alright, but don't think I don't know your up to something."
"You just wait, Ash. You just wait." I mumbled.
"What was that?"
"Oh, nothing." I continued cleaning up.
"Nothing at all."

Scarlett was acting really weird.
I mean, even when I went to the bathroom she would tell me to 'hurry back' and not 'wander off'.
I mean, where would I even go? It's Scarlett's house after all.
I know where every corner and penny lies around here.
See what I did there? Okay, I'll stop.
"Should we order something?" She asked.
We spent most of the next hour talking or watching trailers of upcoming movies.
We loved to rate them and see if just from the trailer, we would watch them.
