How'd they afford something like this?
I walked into a magnificently- styled palace looking area.
It looked like a resort...oh my God and the colors!
The gigantic place was beaming with music and neon lights. There was many pools and beach chairs. Over at the side there was a little bar.
"Welcome to the Neutron Net Place! Where you'll meet many teens just like you interested in astrology. But really, they just wanna have fun right now so, that's not the best way to start a convo." Henry whispered the last part and a few people chuckled.
Where'd he get all this 'slang' at?
"Well, have fun!" Henry rushed us in and a nice lady greeted us at the entrance.
"Hello, come with me and we'll have you ready with pool supplies in seconds!" The lady with the bright orange hair and brown eyes had a nice southern accent. "Follow me!"
A few moments later, we all had towels and were adjusting our bathing suites.
"Ready?" Ashton flashed one of his charming smiles.
Scarlett, he is looking straight at you. This is no place to look at his six pack!
"Yeah." I held his hand and started walking towards a pool.
We jumped and splashed around a bit. I think we were the loudest ones there.
Nope. Nevermind. That's literally impossible.
"Ashton?" A boy with brown hair and green eyes swam over.
"William?" Ashton went up to him and gave him a handshake. They greeted each other once more before Ashton turned to me.
"Scarlett, this is William. He was one of my best friends in middle school. William, this is Scarlett, my beloved girlfriend."
My heart warmed up at the sound of Ashton saying 'girlfriend'. As cliche as this sounds, I wouldn't mind him proposing right now.
"Scar, is it okay if Will and I catch up for a bit?"
"Yeah sure, go ahead. Nice meeting you." I shook hands with William and later got out of the pool.
I stopped at the small bar and had a few rounds of piña coladas.
I can't ever get enough of this. Just then, my stomach grumbled. Actually I can. I forgot, no breakfast.
I went back to my beach chair and laid there, looking at the glistening of the big pools in front of me.
"Excuse me, is this seat taken?" A girl with short brown hair, light grey eyes and a British accent came walking over to me.
"Oh no, it's not. Please." I motioned her to sit down.
"It's Kendall by the way."
"I'm Scarlett. Nice to meet you." We both politely smiled and shook hands.
"What brings you here?" She pulled out a pair of sunglasses from her bag and put them on.
But, we're indoors? Ya know what, never mind.
