Chapter 34

~Time skip 2 weeks~

*Brandon's POV*

Today's the day I find out what my babies will be. I'm hoping it's a boy and girl, but I'll be happy with anything. I made sure I had worked out everything with coach, since this morning's practice is mandatory. Time seems to be dragging on. The appointment is at 10:00 and it's only 8:30. Let's just say, I didn't sleep last night, and was up at 5:45. I spent some time in the twins' room, thinking about my amazing family, my 2 new additions, and trying to figure out how I was the lucky one to reel Brianna in. I now sit here, on the couch with the news on, but not paying any attention. I felt a pair of hands on my shoulders, and a soft pair of lips on my neck.

"Babe, relax. Yes, this is a big deal, but just think, are you going to be this tense after we find out? No, you'll be relaxed and at ease. It will make me calmer if you relax. Why don't you go take a hot shower, and I'll go cook breakfast?" I nodded, and made my way towards our bathroom.

*Brianna's POV*

Brandon has been stressed all morning, even after I told him to relax. But I know that mood will change soon. Walking into the hospital was really nerve wracking. I was even nervous, but knowing that we can finally start buying clothes, car seats, and such after this makes me really excited.

"Brianna Bauer?"

Brandon and I both stood up, him taking my hand, and grasping it very tightly. We walked into the room and the nerves really sat in.

"The doctor will be in soon." The nurse shut the door.

"You ready for this Brandon?" He kind of nodded, "Yeah, I'm nervous of the outcome, but I'm happy with whatever." There was a knock on the door.

"Hello. How are you today?" Dr. Massar aimed the question towards me.

"I'm good, the babies are kicking, and I haven't really had any problems. So, good."

He nodded, "So, ready to find out the genders?"

Brandon and I both nodded. I lifted my shirt, Dr. Massar placed the blue gel on my stomach. Brandon took my hand, giving it a light squeeze, making me feel more at ease. The machine was turned on and Dr. Massar put the wand to my stomach. I closed my eyes.

"Alright, the genders are..................... Boy and Girl." I sighed a breath of relief.

"Brandon, you got your wish." I look over and see my fiance with tears streaming down his face.

"Thank you so much." He kissed my fingers.

"I'll go print some pictures." The doctor walked out.

"Here are the pictures. Congrats and I'll see you both soon."

We walked out hand in hand. "Want to head to the UC? Practice should be about over."

I nodded. The drive to the UC was quiet. Walking into the locker room, I couldn't wipe the smile from my face.

"Alright boys, I'll see you all tomorrow," Coach Q said.

"Hold on, you're not leaving yet. We've got the results...." Brandon said with a smirk. The boys and Kelsey awaited the results.

"We're having............ a....... boy and a girl."

The locker room erupted in cheers. Kelsey came over, "Congrats girl!! This gonna be so exciting!!!" She said, hugging me. Honestly, it really was exciting.
