Chapter 14

*Brandon's POV*

        Today is an exciting day. Opening day is today and it's our home opener. But, it's also the first ultrasound. I'm so excited, first look at the baby I helped create. We walked into the doctor's office and the nerves set in. I think Brianna could tell too.

         "Babe, it's OK. Calm down, you think I'm not nervous." She grabbed my hand and held it, it kind of helped. I'm not very patient, so waiting like this doesn't help.

        "Brianna Bauer, we're ready for you."

        We stood up, still hand in hand. We walked back into an exam room, number 9. I pulled my chair up next to Brianna, as she sat in the comfy looking chair. The doctor walked in.

        "Hello Brianna, nice to see you again." He shook her hand.

        "You too Dr. Massar."

        He looks at me, confused. "What happened with Jonathan?"

        She tensed up, "We got a divorce, we weren't working out."

        He nodded, and moved to me, "Dr. Massar, you?"

         I shook his hand, "Brandon."

        He pulled a machine over to the other side of Brianna. "Are you the father?"

        I nodded with a smile on my face, "Yes sir, I am."

        He nodded, "Alright Brianna, you know the drill."

        She lifted her shirt up to the top of her stomach. He put this blue gel on her stomach, she cringed. She noticed the worried look on my face.

         "It's ok Brandon, it's cold, that's all."

        I relaxed. The doctor started moving this thing around her stomach. I watched the screen the entire time.

        "Well, congrats."

        I didn't understand, "For what?"

        He chuckled, "You're having twins. There's clearly two there. I'll go print some pictures and be right back." We both nodded, she started laughing.

        "Babe, what's so funny?" She stopped, trying to look serious.

        "When were you planning on telling me your sperm was that good??"

        She busted out laughing again, but I did too. "Surprise!!!" She and I were both laughing when the doctor walked back in.

        "Here you go, have a nice day and I'll see you two in a few months!" We both shook his hand and walked out to the car.

        "Babe, this is huge. I mean, you've done this before, but two babies."

        She nodded, "Let's pray that one's a girl and the other's a boy."

         We got home, thank God Kelsey took Evelyn for the day. We both went upstairs to get ready for the game.

        "Hey babe, Kelsey is going to pick me up. Evelyn and I will ride home with you, but Kelsey would like me to ride with her. She'll be here in a few, so I'm going to head down. I'll see you in a little bit. Love you!" She gave me a kiss as I was finshing my tie.

        "Bye beautiful!" She walked out the door. My life is so amazing..

*Brianna's POV*

        I walked out the door of the complex building and saw Kelsey's car. I hopped in the passenger seat, "Hey Kelso! Hi babygirl!!!" They both said hi and we headed towards the UC. We stopped at a stoplight.

"So, how did it go today?"

         I grinned, "We're having twins."

        Her eyes went wide, "NO FREAKIN' WAY!!!!!!!" I heard the sounds of screeching tires, then a car hits us from behind.
