*Brianna's POV*

"Boys, great game tonight! We know it's always going to be a physical game against St. Louis. Congrats on the win, you boys deserved it, be safe this weekend. Go home and enjoy your family!"

Kelsey and I stood by the locker room doors, waiting for coach to finish his post game speech. We had just demolished St. Louis by a score of 6 to 1. Crow was a wall besides that one goal with 10 seconds left in the game. Kelsey and I made our way into the middle of the locker room, where Duncan and Brandon were standing, chatting about the upcoming weekend.

"Great game handsome!" Kelsey and I said at the exact same time, making us look at each other and laugh.

The boys that had heard that were chuckling, but Jon sat in his stall, emotionless. Although he hadn't tried anything on me, I knew he felt guilty. Lindsey just up and left him, because 'he wasn't buying me what I needed.' Her words exactly.

"I'm going to my office for a little bit. If I'm not at the car, just go on home, take Evelyn with you. I need to handle some stuff and it might be a while. I'll call you when I'm ready or just find a ride home."

Brandon looked at me, "You sure?"

I nodded. "I'll see you at home." I gave him a small kiss before walking to my office.

I sat down, pondering on what I should do. I got up, opening my door to see Jonathan standing there in a shirt and shorts. I thought back to what Brandon and I had decided, we wanted Kelsey to be the godmother, of course, but Brandon really wanted Jonathan to be the godfather. I knew it was a bad idea, but told him I would be the one to ask him.

"Jonathan, I was actually coming to find you. I need to talk to you." He looked at me, worriedly.

"Um, okay. Am I in trouble or something?"

I shook my head, "Come in, more private place to talk." He walked in and sat in the chair opposite of mine.

"Jonathan, Brandon and I were talking, and this is what he wants, not that I don't want it, but it would mean the world to us, if you would be the godfather to the twins. I know it's hard for you to hear that, but Brandon really wants you to be the godfather. I also want you to be in Evelyn's life again. I know, it's different and harder, but you need to be in your daughter's life. We can gradually bring you back into her life, show her you're not a monster."

He looked at me with teary eyes. "So, Brandon wants me to be the godfather to the twins, but I'm guessing you didn't tell him about the whole Evelyn thing."

I nodded, "I know Brandon wouldn't mind, but if he says anything, I'll tell him exactly what I told you."

He stood up, walking behind the desk over to me. He leaned down and hugged me, "Thank you. I'll think about Brandon's offer, but I would love to be in Evelyn's life." He pulled away, looking at me with a slight smile on his face.

"Jonathan, I know it's really out of your way, but could you drive me home? I cooked Cheesy Italian Tortellini, you and I both know how much you love it. And believe me, we have a ton of extras."

He nodded, "Let me go change into my suit. Here are the keys, I'm in a Corvette, it's red. I'll be out in 5 minutes."

I took the keys, locking my office. I decided to call Brandon. It rang twice, before he answered, "You ready?"

I tried to stay calm, because I know exactly what he would do about the Jonathan thing.

"Actually, I'm getting a ride home. And we're going to have company over for a little bit. And don't get mad when I tell you this, but Jonathan is bringing me home. I invited him to stay for our late dinner. I want him to be in Evelyn's life, so I want her to be around him again."

I heard him sigh, "I'm not going to say that I'm not mad, because I am, but if it's what you want, then fine. But what are we going to do when she starts calling us both daddy?"

I took a deep breath, "Honestly Brandon, I have no idea. Let's talk about this later. We'll see you in a little bit."

I could hear the anger in his voice, "Okay, I love you."

I smiled, knowing he wouldn't stay mad for long, "Love you too."

I hung up as Jonathan slide gracefully into the driver seat. We quickly pulled out and made our way out of downtown Chicago, towards the country. My phone started ringing, the caller ID reading Daddy. I quickly answered, "Hi Daddy."

I didn't hear my father's voice, but another male's voice, one I couldn't forget. "Bri, it's Danny. I hate having to be the one to tell you, but the guys voted for me to do this. This is really hard for me-"

I cut him off, "Just spit it out Danny."

He sighed, "Your parents have been killed in a car accident....."
