Chapter 2

*Brianna's POV*

        "Babe, wake up."

        My eyes slowly adjust to the lighting. "Mornin' handsome!"

        Jon smiled, "Mornin' beautiful!"

        I stretched, only to realize I had nothing on. I remember, fast kisses, his hands all over my body, my hands all over his, it was more than perfect.

        "Good thing Evelyn stayed with Seabs last night, she could be running in here right now. Then how would you explain this to your 3 year old daughter?" He chuckled, "I could've left her with Kaner, but I decided to keep it G rated." I punched his arm, he started laughing. I got out of bed, not caring that I wasn't wearing anything.

        "Damn, I hope there's a fireman around here, because you're smokin'!"

        I stuck out my tongue out at him, "Do you believe in love at first sight? Or should I walk by again?" I quickly shut and locked the door. I heard him dying of laughter, I was doing the same. I turned the water on, making sure it was nice and hot. I got in, washed my hair and body, then stood there, reflecting on my life.

        It was just 3 short years ago that I came to visit Chicago for my 21st birthday, met Jonathan at a bar, got an amazing job with the Chicago Blackhawks, found out I was expecting, and married the love of my life, all in 8 months time. My life couldn't be any better, I had everything. The perfect life, the perfect husband, and the perfect daughter. A bang on the door brought me back to reality.

         "Baby, you got 45 minutes to get out here."

        I turned the water off, got out, dried myself off, and got dressed. Thank God I got to wear yoga pants to work. My phone started to ring, new text from Seabs:

         Hey, I'm bringing Evelyn to practice with me, you can get her before we go out to practice. Don't forget, its at Johnny's IceHouse! :)

        I had to laugh, I threw on my Toews shirt, sneakers, and was running down to the kitchen. I grabbed an apple and string cheese.

         "Seriously babe, thats all you're going to eat?"

        I just stared at Jon, "Yes, I dont get hungry anymore. I'm only eating for one right now, not 2. Besides, I'm trying to get down to pre-baby weight. I have 10 pounds to go!" Jon looked pissed off, he got up and pulled me into a hug.

         "Babe, I dont care how much you weigh. You're the best thing that happened to me. You gave me a beautiful daughter who is spitting image of you. That's all I care about."

         I just stood there, "Have I told you how much I love you lately?"

        He thought for a moment, "Yeah, last night, while we were dancing in the sheets."

        I smacked his chest, "Seabs is bringing Evelyn with him." I grabbed the car keys, "Well, lets get rollin'!"

        When we arrived at Johnny's, I saw Evelyn holding Seabs' hand, waiting for me. I got out of the car and pratically ran to her.

        "MOMMY!!!!" I pulled her into a hug,

        "Hi baby. Did you have fun?" She nodded, I didnt realize Jon was behind me.

         "DADDY!!!!!!" She jumped into his arms.

         "Hey baby girl, I missed you!"

        She snuggled against him, "I missed both of you!"

        We walked inside, Evelyn fell asleep in Coach Q's mini office. I had a guard watch her for me, so I could get some work done. Practice had just ended, when I saw her.

        "Holy shit, KELSEY!!!!!" She just stood there with a black stare on her face.

        "Earth to Kelsey!!" I started waving my hand in her face.
