The next morning, I woke up to a DM from Najwa explaining that she had been grounded. She wasn't sure when she was coming back. Her parents found out she lied about not finishing a school project, and they were pissed, so they were taking her iPod and computer away. This new information didn't sink into my brain right away; I had to process it for a while for me to actually get it. She sent the message at around 12 PM my time, so her things were most likely long taken away by now. Once I wrapped my head around it, my heart sank. How long would she be gone? Would she ever get her stuff back? She was so much fun, and we had just been getting close! God dammit! These thoughts wouldn't stop flooding my mind. I lay on my back, still under the warm caress of my blankets, and stared up at the white ceiling of my bedroom, groaning. I won't have anyone to talk to for who knows how long....Great.

Sighed, I clenching my phone in my hand and sat upright, my black hair a horrid mess on top of my head. I rubbed the green sleep crusties out of my eyes with the side of my hand, getting eyeliner all over it, as well as getting it smeared all over my face. I bit my lip, looking down at my phone again. Her message was still on my screen. I might as well TRY messaging her back, in case she can sneak on sometime. I pressed reply and texted, "Aww shit...Okay :( Well I hope you get your stuff back soon...Miss you already..! :( <3" and hit send.

After the message sent, I swung my legs over the edge of my bed and started to rummage through my already-opened-closet. I picked out some black skinny jeans and my Motionless In White tee - my usual outfit. I shrugged them on, as well as a bra and new panites, i looked in my full-length mirror that hung on my wall beside my bed, ssurveying my body up and down. I thought, Gee, my hair IS a wreck....Cowlicks like crazy....Eh, okay. At this is a start. But what am I go to do all day? Nobody talks to me....Not even my friends in PERSON... Stuffing my phone in my bra, because frankly I didn't feel like putting it in my pants pocket, and shuffled my way downstairs. I was met by my mom, who sat on the couch on her laptop, most likely playing Words With Friends on facebook. That's what she always does during the day. She's like, totally addicted, It's actually kind of funny, because she'll sit there and be all "Damn! I got 84 points for this simple word and 'so-and-so' got 139 points for a word that isn't even a word!!" Anyways, when I made my way into the living room, she looked up at me, her greenish eyes widening, and went, "Well you slept pretty well last night!" I laughed softly under my breath, muttering, "Yeah, pretty much..." I ran my hand through my hair, walking over to the adjacent couch to the one my mom was sitting at, and plopped down, "I have nothing to do today....i did all my homework last night. Do you think I could have a friend over?"

She looked at me with a slightly surprised look on her face; I never usually ask for friends to come over. "Sure, Clare," she said, her lips curling up at the sides. Clare was another one of my nicknames that had begun to stuck with me. I didn't mind; saying Clarissa was a mouthful sometimes. "I think I'll have Rachelle over..." I said, taking my phone out and texting her: "Hey, you wanna come over?"

She didn't reply for about 10 minutes. She shares her phone with her parents so she doesn't have it all the time. But when she did, it said, "Can't. I have a crap load of homework. Dx" Damn, I thought. I don't have many friends, and they all are either out of town this weekend or their phones don't work....

"Well, never mind..." I narrowed my eyes, grumbling, "she said she can't. She has homework." I said sourly. Nothing ever works for me! I hate it!

"Awww....Hmmm....Would you want to go get pizza from somewhere for lunch and go have a picnic at a park or something?" My mom suggested.

"Sure, that sounds good!" Maybe that would get my mind off of Najwa being grounded... I glanced over at the clock that sat on the coffee table between tables. It read 11:39. Wow, I need to start waking up a bit earlier.... I always sleep in until 12 and then my days are so short!

With that, I got ready to go, brushing my teeth, putting on deodorant, brushing through my hair and spraying my sweet, candy-like smelling perfume all over myself so I'd smell at least reasonably nice. I applied a new coat of eyeliner, but not without washing off the one I had on yesterday which was now smeared all over my eyes, making me look like a raccoon. I always put thick coats of black eyeliner on; I love the look of it! My mom was already finished getting ready before I had gotten downstairs, so we left as soon as I was done. We ended up going to this amazing pizza place called Carbones, ordering a shrimp and sausage pizza. Shrimp on a pizza, you ask? Sounds gross! Well, it's not. trust me. It's actually pretty damn amazing. If you like shrimp, of course....

We set off to this park we always go to when we get something small to eat like fast food, setting ourselves up at a picnic table that was under a shelter-roof thing. I ate about 10 pieces - it was cut up into squares - because I was really hungry. I don't normally eat this much at home, but when it's somewhere out to eat, thats definitely an exception. I eat like a pig whenever we go out!

This got my mind off of Najwa for a while, but as soon as we got back home and I went over my text messages, I saw her Direct Message from twitter and I felt as lonely as ever.
