Jayne's POV

Ever since we got back from that tour, work has been eating me alive. I was finding it a little tiring to pencil in all these appointments and deal with the ones I already had.

Jaime was driving me home and blaring Mayday Parade through the speakers of his car. When I noticed his longing look over at Belle's tattoo shop, I turned down the music.

"Have you heard from her lately?" Jaime had been down ever since the fight they had three days ago and he sighed.

"No. I've left messages and things but she won't talk to me! She talks to everyone else but me." Jaime stared out the window at the road ahead of him and I could tell this really got to him.

Belle must've been incredibly mad because I knew she was coming in to work. But she would go to Brent's apartment to stay with him and Monica. Everyone knew where she was.

"Jaime, why don't you just go get her?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, go to Brent's apartment, ask to see Belle, and work things out!"

"Because she doesn't want to see me. She's mad at me." I rolled my eyes and squeezed my temples. I can't believe he really thought that.

"Jaime Preciado. Do you really believe that?" He nodded. "No. She's a woman. She may be mad at you but she does want to see you. She's waiting for you to show you care. After you drop me off, go get her."

He thought about my words for the duration of the ride and when we pulled up to the house, I hopped out the car. He yelled out his window.

"Jayne! Are you sure I should-"

"YES!" With that, he drove off and I opened the door to the seemingly empty house. Valerie sat at the kitchen table on her laptop and I took a peek at the article she was writing about Mayday Parade.

"Funny, I was just listening to them on the way in." I opened the fridge and scanned the contents, seeing nothing I really wanted.

"Really? What do you think about them?"

"They convey real emotions. Hey, where is everyone?" The sound of Valerie's nails on the keys continued.

"Well, I'm assuming Jaime went out after taking you here. We all know where Belle is. Anne has a job doing some wedding makeup, and Tony is in the studio with Vic." I nodded my head and noted the missing Mike.

When I got upstairs, I kicked off my Vans and tossed my beanie across the room. I slumped back into the pair of arms that wrapped around my waist and turned my neck as a pair of lips lightly landed themselves on the skin there. The cool metal of a lip ring sent a shiver up my spine and Mike turned me around. He leaned down to kiss me and I stood on my toes to meet him.

"Mmmm, I've missed you, Mikey." Our foreheads leaned together and my gaze met his. With a sigh, I pulled away from him and collapsed onto the bed, patting the spot next to me.

"I've missed you too, Jayne."

"I know, it feels like I haven't seen you in a while." He pulled me up onto him and rolled a little so that he was below me.

"Well I'm here now, and I love you." He kissed me hard and passionately and I pulled away. He looked a little confused as I rolled off him.

"I love you too, Mike, but... I'm incredibly tired." I smiled apologetically and he nodded understandingly. He got out the bed and I noticed him cleaning up the room a little. I sat up a little and that's when I finally realized it.
