A longer chap, but I couldnt stop :p

I woke to a rose on my bedside table, it was bright and didnt have a black ribbon, instead a white one. It made me smile that the thought of him warming up to me was happening. I picked up the flower delicately and a knock was heard on my door, I smiled once more and placed the flower in an empty vase on my table. I walked to the door and was greeted by Meg.

"Hiya Kathy, today we learn our routine, you excited?"
"Of course!" I beam at her.
"We should leave as soon as possible then, quickly, get ready."

I nod and close the door to get ready. I grab my practicing outfit and immediantly think, I wish I had sweat pants and a tanktop. I put the dress and shoes on and open the door to see Meg standing there, waiting.
We arrived not too much later and I saw Madame Giry telling a few girls to warm up. I copy the girls and stretch out. Eventually we will take a break for breakfast, then I will meet Erik. I push the growing thoughts in my mind and focus on practicing.
The whole day was boring until I met Erik and I feel it will be like this quite often. It was eventually time to leave and I told Meg not to worry for I would be leaving again. I sweeped on my cloak and entered the closet. I hummed a tune aka a Billie Eilish song, she is such a good artist.
I arrived at Erik's room and I opened it up then entered.

"Mon ange!" I called out I of course got no response.
I walked into the parlor to see him at his table recreation of the stage. I know exactly what the scene was. He telling the managers that Christine is prima donna instead of Carlotta. I shrugged, I guess tomorrow we preform it. In the movie it would cut to the scene if I remember correctly but in real life that wouldnt happen.
     "Erik?" I ask.
He turns around to face me.
I smile "have you eaten yet?" I peak into the kitchen to see a single cup in the sink. "Erik!" I scolded and walked into the kitchen to prepare a meal.
     "I forgot." He shrugged.
I frown, "dont lie, you just didnt want to, The Phantom of the Opera would never forget something as simple as eating." I frown again and take an apple from the bowl on the counter and throw it to him.
He catches it and I catch an eye rolling of his.
I gasp, "what has your panties in a twist man? Eat your apple, I'm going to play." I strolled over to the organ and plumped down.
"Nothing for your information has gotten my 'panties in a twist'" his shoulders jump in a silent laugh and sits beside me.
I snicker, "Didnt think Id ever hear you say that." I look at the sheet music atop the organ, Don Juan, oh, oh god thats so soon. I act innocent, "whats this piece?" I take ahold of the paper and read it over, it was infact, past the point of no return.
"A new opera." He bites into his apple
I wait till he finished that bite, "Tell me about it?"
He starts to play the song and I'm litterally struck by the first note. I hum the familiar tune and almost start singing it before I notice the piece doesnt have its lyrics yet.
"Its beautiful, may I play?" I put my fingers on the correspinding notes.
He nods and puts the apple aside. It only has a few bites.
I play the piece and I smile when I realize, I am playing a song written by Erik, and I have influence on it. I musnt change anything in it.
"Tell me, Katherina, what do you think of Christine playing the prima donna in the opera you are learning?"
"I think she will be absolutely lovely." I smile and pause playing. "Why do you ask?" I face him.
"Just asking." He says and tells me to keep playing. Practice makes perfect he says.
"Do you have lyrics for this song ange?" I ask and think, I hope he sings, his voice is litteraly perfection.
"Not yet, hopefully I will soon." He says and stands.
I watch him walk over to his coat rack.
"Come with me to the roof?" He asks and sweeps on his cloak.
I nod, "sure." I put my own on as well. "May I ask why we're going to the roof?" I ask as we start through the passage up there.
"I need to think." He states simply and starts walking ahead of me.
I pout, "hey no need to show off how fast you can walk." I jog up to him.

The journey was quick and silent but not awkwardly so. I guess we both enjoy quiet sometimes. The quiet gets me thinking about II Muto. Joseph Buquet dies when that is preformed, I never liked the man, he harrassed girls and was extremely perverted. I've never actually formally talked to him but I have seen him lurking around.
The thought of Buquet makes me think of how he describes Erik, yellow skin, no nose, so on and so on. I wonder what Erik's deformity will look like this time, more like Gerik, or Leroux? I'm going to guess Gerik because the story line seems like the one of the 2004 movie. But the characters look like a mix of my imagination and all the different actors for them.
When we arrive at the roof Erik stalks away and sits on the gargoyle. I follow and sit next to him.
"Whats on your mind?" I ask tucking my cold hands into my lap to keep warm.
He takes his time to answer, seeming to think of an answer he says, "I'm not thinking of anything specific, just, a lot to think about."
"Like what?"
"Don Juan, Christine, ll Muto, every person who seems to be involved with me."
I move into his line of sight and ask, "Do I trouble you?"
"No, maybe sometimes but no" he responds and has a playful exspression.
"How rude." I fake pout and turn away.
"You asked for it." He nudges my shoulder.
At first it suprises me but I quickly recover and nudge him harder.
He nudges me back, also with more force and I fall to the ground. I land in the snow
"Oh its on." I grab a handful of snow with a mischeivious grin and he catches on and quickly hides for cover, but before he reaches the statue I hit him straight in the side.
He looks at me, daring to throw another, I do. "You dare." Is all he says before hes starts throwing snow at me as well.
Its a full on war now, I throw some and hide behind my little fort. "You cant defeat me! I will defea you!" I exclaim.
"You little fool! I shall defeat you!" He throws a large wad at me, but I dodge before it meets its target.
I'm not little! "Come at me bro!" I yell and run into the passage way.
"Thats cheating!" He follows me in and I keep running to the lair.
"You cant catch me now!" I yell and the voices echo around us.
He chucks the last snow ball and it hits me smack dab in the middle of my back. I slowly fall to my knees dramatically.
"I've been deafeated" I whisper loudly. I turn to him, still on the floor and I start laughing so hard I'm coiled into a ball, he soon joins in and I later quiet my laughter so I can hear his, lemme say, its so beautiful, everything about this man is so musical. I stare at him and smile widely, "You should laugh more, its so lovely."
He stops laughing and looks at me, "I could disagree." His face darkens.
I frown, "No matter what you say I will always contradict it mon ange." I say and stand up from my fetal position. Before he responds I say, "I must be going now, it was one hell of a time." I smile back at him and walk to a breaking off path up to the halls.
"A lady mus'nt curse." He says, but I hear a smirk in his voice, like he knew I didnt care.
"You think I'm a lady." I say and walk away, waving.
"Of course not, Your an angel." He says silently and it makes me smile.
