But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." (I Samuel 16:7 NKJV)
Appearance! Our appearance speak much about us. Men easily judge by how you look, and how you look attract the kind of people that come to you.
Are you tired of your bad friends? Don't pray or fast to chase them, just change your appearance! Dress responsibly and responsible people will come to you.
Heart! Your heart is the centre of Excellence. Your heart stand between you and God. The Psalmist says "Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord ? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart.. (Psalms 24:3, 4 NKJV)
Everything I know about God is as a relationship I have towards Him. To have a relationship with God is to have an acceptable heart towards him. God cherish our Heart more than our looks.
If your heart is full on unforgiveness, greed, hatred, evil, malice, and useless gossips then you're far away from God. Made up your mind today to Forgive yourself of the past and to forgive everyone that has ever offended you. Immediately you do these, you will start hearing from God!
