Jesus replied, "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell into the hands of robbers, who stripped him, beat him up, and went off, leaving him half dead. (Luke 10:30 NET)
This is very important to us because Jesus himself was the one who tells the story.
Whether you're a Christian or Musl** or irrespective of Religious Institution we may belong to, none of us I mean nobody plan to be a victim in life.
Maybe challenges in Jerusalem has probably overwhelm him, maybe house rent in Jerusalem is overdue and landlord is on his neck, maybe he couldn't afford his children school fees anymore in Jerusalem, maybe life is not fair to him in Jerusalem
Another truth here which I want you catch is where the man is coming from..and..where he is going to.
Jerusalem is the city of the Living God! When a Man decides to leave God presence, he begins to GO DOWN!
No matter your challenges in life don't quit God. It is better and safer to have nothing in God than having everything in this world.
What does it profit a man to gain everything in this world and loose his soul.
Jeremiah says..
"...remember the Lord afar off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind. (Jeremiah 51:50 KJV)
Let your passion for the things of God rejuvenate one more time. You might be in line for a Miracle. Don't give up yet!
