What is the Difference between a Child and a Youth..?
"But Saul replied to David, "You aren't able to go against this Philistine and fight him! You're just a boy! He has been a warrior from his youth!" (1 Samuel 17:33 NET)
Here, David is the child while I refer to Goliath as Youth. Both of them had similar experience but a little differences.
David life before now have been a battle and victories over animals on the field while Goliath life was surrounded with victories on the warfront.
A child have victory in his father's house, a Youth have victory outside his Father's house. If a child is a boy then a Youth should be a Man. Youth is regarded as men and women not children {Men and Women with Black hair} Else, they will be called old men and women {because of gray hair}.
"David said moreover, The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine.. (1 Samuel 17:37 KJV)
What you never learn under your father's canopy you will never put to work outside your father's house. Charity begins at home.
Responsibility of every parent is to "TRAIN UP A CHILD IN A WAY HE SHOULD GO.."
