Brothers and sisters, if someone in your group does something wrong, you who are spiritual should go to that person and gently help make him right again. But be careful, because you might be tempted to sin, too. By helping each other with your troubles, you truly obey the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:1, 2 NCV)
Paul says "..if someone in your group does something wrong.." meaning I should expect an act of imperfection among fellow believers. That shouldn't give room for gossips or murmuring. Rather gently help such fellow back to Right living in the spirit of love through God's word.
To murmur over someone imperfection is to attract destruction upon oneself because Murmuring is a Sin. (1st Cor 10:10)
The word of God is given to us for reproving, for correcting, for instructing in Right living.. (2nd Tim 3:16) Not for condemning, not for crucifying.
And beautiful thing about these, whenever you help someone rise to faith, you won't find it difficult to be comforted when you also fall in faith.
