Another translation says "those who pay regard to worthlessnesses of nothingness or vanities of emptiness forfeit the mercy that could be theirs..
Beloved, don't give up on God. Let your only alternative to God be God. That is, if is not God then it can only be God. There's a mercy that could be yours if only you have patience enough.
A man of God says in the scripture at his old age.. "since I was born, now I am old, I have never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging for bread" Those words are still true till date for those who will wait enough on God.
While given up on God who will not give up on you?
Say to yourself today.. I refuse to observe lying vanities irrespective of challenges on my table in Jesus Name.
