My eyes cracked open ever so slightly to the world before closing back up again. The room he slept in was much brighter than he remembered. That could be due to the lights being flicked on, or that the room he awoke in, was filled was filled with bright hues of red, gold, and white. I groaned, pulling my hood far over my head and sitting up. My eyes once again blinked open until the lighting was bearable, then, squinting, I got to my feet.

I was in Roman's room and closing his door upon that thought. My feet carried me into the hall and I pulled out the eyeshadow that I knew was tucked away into my back pocket. After yesterday, I was feeling determined. That could be due to my new jacket but who cares!

Deceit almost chuckled at the thought, his fingers sliding across the metallic table with a pleasing screech. He knew the person behind him was cringing at the sound. That was the best part. His yellow eye turned on its own accord to a far off hall. The walls before it were thick but that didn't stop him from looking through them.

"Well, well, well." His fingers drummed momentarily before pushing him away from the table. He turned on the heel of his black boot and sent a smile to the nearby prisoner. The prisoner rolled his eyes in response.

"What are you planning you cold-blooded bitch." The hero, known as Roman spat past the handlebars and the substance landed beside Deceit's foot.

"Plan: A detailed proposal." Both of his eyes lined up like an iguana and he sent Roman a glare. "I wouldn't call this a proposal, merely a detailed, in motion, action...Roman, you're like a car. One of the four wheels to my vehicle-"

"I'll never help you!"

Deceit rolled his eyes, shaking his head as if remembering a fond memory. "You remind me of the last two, and look at them now." His gloved hand drifted to the door, pointing at it. As if on cue both Logan and Patton walked in, each carrying two containers of a red substance. They set them besides Deceit's table before leaving as quickly as they came. Logan sending a nod to the villain before closing the door behind him. Roman's heart shattered at the sight.

"Wh-what's that for?" He stuttered, more worried about the glowing red containers than the bastard in front of him.

"Well," Deceit kicked the closet steel bar, making the entirety of the room echo fiercely. Roman, who had his arms chained closely to the ground, couldn't cover his ears and whimpered at the sound. "If you hadn't interrupted me with your BRILLIANT DISPLAY OF HEROISM, I would tell you."

Deceit crouched to my level and he knew if the steel bars didn't block us off I'd kick him. The door behind him opened once more and in came Logan, this time carrying a silver suitcase. The intellectual opened the case into a laptop and begun typing away. I could see what he was typing from here.

"Oh no-"

"Oh yes." The villain got back to his feet. "The world's full of treacherous lies Roman, killing off media hotspots was just the beginning of my rain. Like I said PRINCE Roman, your just a wheel. So is Patton, Logan, and Virgil...But I'm,-"

A wall split open to the right, Giving Roman a first glance at the mayhem awaiting ahead.

"I'm the engine."
