Damian has left the Tower, and it got me thinking, well, wondering.. Damian hasn't mention anything about having to settle Titan business before arriving here... I wonder what is he doing..

Starfire: Jon?

My eyes haven't stop staring at the kitchen eversince Damian and Raven left. I couldn't help but to wonder if he is hiding, something from me...

Starfire: Jon!

Me: (immediate reaction towards Starfire's call) Yes? Yes? What? Nothing.. Yes?

Starfire: Jon, are you ok? Why were you staring at the kitchen for so long?

Me: No I'm ok, I was just, thinking.

Dick: Anything you'd like to share with us?

Me: No, it's not important, I---- (sigh) maybe, I was just wondering. Do you guys think that, Damian might be hiding something from me? I mean, he hasn't mentioned anything about having to settle Titan business before we arrived here. If there was, why hasn't he told me about it? I mean, just so I'll know.

Kory and Dick were silent for a moment. Both of them took a glace at each other's eyes and then Kory looked at me with a smile on her face.

Starfire: Jon, believe me when I tell you this. Damian isn't, hiding anything from you, trust me. I too know Damian.

Dick: Same here dude, Damian may be, well, a dick sometimes, (giggle) but there's one thing I know very well about him and that is, he doesn't hide anything important from you. He may hide things from us, but not you.

I took my eyes away from them and looked down. Dick has a point tho. I mean Damian has shared many things about him to me that he never shares it with his family. Like his journal, his passion for music, his past and so on. (Sigh) Maybe I'm just being paranoid that's all. I'm sure Damian isn't hiding anything from me.

Me: ((sigh) looking down) you guys are right. I'm just, stupid. Sorry..

Kory: There's is nothing to apologise for Jon. Now, I heard that you needed some help in preparing Damian a Christmas gift, am I right?

Me: (looked up) Yes, I'm having a hard time deciding what to do for him. Rav- A friend of mine, told me that it's better to prepare a gift made by myself, and not bought from a store. She says that a self made gift is more special than a bought gift.

Kory: Yes, I agree! This friend of yours is a genius.. You know, to me, a gift is a gift, no matter how small or big it is. It isn't about the amount you spend on the gift that matters, it's what the gift represents that matters. Like for instance, Dick gave me a bouquet of roses on Valentine's Day. He says that the roses represented my beauty, and I loved it. Many females would expect a diamond ring or heavy pearls on Valentine's day, but not me. Even Dick's home made burned apple pie was a lovely gift for me. He made that for me on our Anniversary.

Dick: Wait.... It was burned?

Kory: Yes, the pie was black, and the fillings on the inside were slightly over cooked. But it was good, I ate it with a large amount of mustard.

Dick: Aww.... You're the best, babe!

Kory: (giggling) No you are.

Dick: No No No, you are..

Kory: No, you are...

Ok? I'm sitting right across these two and watching them praise each other.. Ok,,, this is awkward but hey, at least I'm learning about gift values from Kory and Dick..
