Chapter 43

Selena's POV

"So you mean we have the cover of seventeen magazine!?"

Abbey smiled and nodded "Yes"

"This is amazing! Let's go!" I almost screamed

"We leave tomorrow. Sel. Chill" she laughed

"Shit. What if Jesy's there?" I have her a worried look

"She won't be. Trust me. 'I wouldn't see them even if I could' remember that?" she rolled her eyes

"Yeah..."

"We're fine. Ash coming with us?"

"Ehhh. Nah. He's gotta take care of Alfie!"

She nodded and said "I don't really want Luke to go... To be completely honest"

I laughed "Trouble in paradise?"

"We're not married. But no, I just want sister time!" She smiled

"Haha, lamest excuse ever"

She death glared me "I'm telling the truth."

"Haha, sure"

Jesy's POV

The girls haven't talked to me since the awkward conversation at my house the other night.

I feel had but I just can't go talk to them and be like 'I'm sorry I'm a horrible mother. Please forgive me. I love you girls'

What the hell. Sounds fake. Really fake.

Jordan sat on his fat ass texting someone. Haha.

He has to go on tour soon. Maybe then I can go find Abbey and Selena.

Abbs and Sel. My baby girls. Yeah. Like they'd ever let me call them that again after the way I've treated them the past year.

I can't just pick up my phone and call them. Or could I?

Probably changed their numbers.

God. This is gonna be hard.

Six months. I'll go to them in six months.

Abbey's POV

"So I guess what we're trying to say is would you like to go to LA with us?" I smiled.

"Yes!" Claire yelled

We laughed and I yelled "Girls trip! We have to work one day but the rest of the trip is ours girly!"

She smiled "Perfect! We leave later right?"

Selena nodded "Sorry about the late notice!"

She shook her head "Don't worry about it! So a two week vacation in LA! I better go pack!"

I laughed and said "I have to too! Oh my god! I gotta go. I haven't even told Luke. I don't know what to say.."

Selena laughed and said "I told Ash right after you told me!"

Claire gave me a weird look and said "I'm gonna tell Mikey right after this"

I sighed "Great..."

"Allison visiting home right?" I questioned

Claire nodded "Yeah, her and Cal got in a fight and she went to visit home"

Selena looked at us "I didn't know that! What happened!?"

We both said "I don't know"

She nodded and said "Oh"

I nodded and said "Yeah. I gotta go pack, and tell my boyfriend I'm going on a trip without him. Yay."

Claire laughed and said "You know he's gonna beg to come. No caving Abbs!"

I sighed "Okay. Okay."

I walked back over to my house "Luke!"

I heard a muffled "What?" coming from our room

I walked up stairs "Hi"

He kissed me "Hi babe. Something wrong?"

I shook my head "No. Not really. I have to tell you something though"

He nodded and I continued "I'm going to LA for two weeks."

He nodded "When do you leave?"

I looked down to the floor "A few hours..."

He sat on the bed and said "Why didn't you tell me?"

I sighed my eyes not leaving the floor "I've only known for two days"

He laughed slightly and said "You didn't tell me. That's the point of this. We're supposed to trust each other. What do you not trust me now?"

"What the hell Luke. Where'd that come from?! I just didn't know how to tell you. Jesus. Sel and I have an interview with Seventeen and we got the cover. So I'm sorry. I didn't tell you right away."

I looked up to see him death glaring me "You could've told me."

I rolled my eyes and said "Yeah. I could've but I didn't so get over it. I'm telling you right now. I'm gonna pack now. Or do I need to tell you that a few days in advance?"

He shook his head and walked out.

I quickly packed wanting to get out of here quickly.

I threw my 14 cutest outfits in a suitcase and then all of my makeup and hair stuff in a carry on with my laptop and charger and a blanket. In my book bag I travel with I put my phone charger, headphones and a sweatshirt.

I grabbed my two suitcases and my book bag and went to the front door "I'm leaving!"

Luke walked past me going upstairs "K. Bye."

I groaned and walked out of the house slamming the door behind me.

I threw my stuff in the car that had been waiting outside for me. We picked up the other girls and went to the airport. Two weeks without Luke. I can do this. I would've spent the night and Claire's or Sel's after what happened between Luke and I.

He really needs to chill. I decided not to to the girls what happened.

It was about midnight and we have about seven more hours to go. Claire fell asleep about an hour ago and Selena started watching a movie. I decided to go to sleep. I'm tired and done with today anyway. I put my chair back as far as it would go and grabbed the blanket from my carry on and covered up.

I woke up to Claire saying "Abbey. We're landing. Wake up!" And Selena saying "Wake up you lazy ass!" I laughed and said "I'm up! I'm up!"

Once we got our luggage and made it to the car it was girl time from there.

We decided to go out to dinner tonight so we all dressed up and went out.

I'm going to enjoy this. A little more than I should.
