Chapter 36

Abbey's POV

There was a knock at the bus door. I smiled knowing it was Luke. I opened the door and there he stood. I smiled and said "Hi!" He returned the smile and said "Hey babe. Ready to go?" I nodded and said "Yep!" I walked off the bus shutting the door behind me. Luke and I walked out of the venue awkwardly walking in silence. When we reached the entrance he said "I called for a car." I smiled and said "Okay. How'd your performance go?" he smiled and said "Good!" he nodded and said "There's the car" pointing at an all black car I nodded and we walked towards it. He opened the drivers side back seat door for me I thanked him and climbed in. Luke opened his door whispered something to the driver and the started to move. I asked him "Where are you guys going next?" he sighed and said "We'll we're on tour with the boys from one direction right now, so right now we're traveling the UK and Ireland then we go to the US" I nodded and said "Cool" he smiled and asked "I thought you had a boyfriend?" I sighed and said "He cheated on me with his ex and used me" Luke's eyes went wide and said "Who would cheat on you?" I laughed and said "Him" he laughed and said "Used you? What do you mean?" I sighed and said "No judging. He tried to get me pregnant so he could get money" Luke nodded and said "Well. Uh. I would never do that to you" I laughed and said "You're famous too though. You have your own money" he laughed and said "Still" I laughed and he said "I hope you like carnivals" I shrugged and said "I've never been to one" he gasped and said "No way!" I laughed and said "Way. I was a orphan. Orphans don't get to do that stuff" he nodded and said "Well. Tonight will be the best night of your life babe" I smiled and said "It better" the driver said "Here you guys go" we both thanked him and Luke ran around to open the door for me I laughed and said "Such a gentleman" he gave me a cheesy smile and said "I try" I laughed and playfully slapped his arm. We walked into the carnival which thankfully wasn't that busy, probably because of the Summer Time Music Festival. We walked up to the ticket booth and Luke bought 50 tickets. Little much if you ask me. Luke flashed me a smile and said "We are going on that scary ride over there" pointing at the dungeon of doom I sighed and said "I'm guessing I have no choice?" he nodded and said "You've guessed right" I groaned as we walked towards the ride. Luke gave the guy tickets and he let us on. We sat in this black car and the creepy guy running the thing asked "Ready?" Luke said "Defiantly" I groaned putting my head on Luke's shoulder. The car jerked forward and we began. I guess things touch you and scare you. I love scary movies but this does not appeal me. Something hairy touched my arm I squealed and hopped on to Luke's lap. He chucked and I said "This is not funny." He smiled and said "A little bit. Just wrap your legs around me. You'll be more comfortable" I nodded and did as he said. Our faces only inches apart. God I want to kiss him. I looked down at his lips then back at his eyes and mumbled "Yolo" and leaned in closing the gap between us pressing my lips to his. He gasped at my sudden action but kissed me back pulling me closer to him. My hands in his hair his running down my back to my bum. After a small make out session we both pulled away I smiled and breathed out "That was great" he smiled and said "Defiantly" I blushed and said "I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me" he laughed and said "don't be" I nodded and got off his lap. He sighed and said "I enjoyed having you there" I blushed and looked down at my lap. He put two fingers under my chin and lifted my head to face his and said "Abbey?" I replied with a "Mhm" he continued things popping out of know where making me jump each time. "I know we've only known each other for a few hours but will you he my girlfriend" I smiled and said "I would be honored." He laughed and kissed me the rest of the ride. When we got off he asked "Hungry?" I nodded and said "Yeah" he sighed and looked around the carnival then said ""Want French fries?" I laughed and said "Sure. Your the expert at this so whatever you think" he nodded and said "Okay. You need a lemonade shakeup, fries and an elephant ear" my eyes widened and I said "Babe. That's a lot of food!" he chuckled and said "Babe. Come on. You can eat it. I'm gonna help you" I smiled and kissed his cheek he frowned and said "You could've kissed me" I laughed and said "That depends on how sick I am later" he gave me a cheeky smile and grabbed my hand out fingers lacing together. It felt as if they were meant to be together. I felt something I didn't feel with Joey. I could fall for Luke. I really like him. I was just staring down at our hands as we walked. I heard Luke say "Uhhh. Medium fry and a lemonade shakeup" the woman making googly eyes at Luke twirling her hand with her fingers said "Anything else hot stuff?" I cut Luke off by saying "No that's all" she gave me a dirty look and went to get our food. Luke turned to me and said "Jealous?" I shook my head and said "Pft. No." He nodded and said "Sure" I pulled him in for a hug. He pulled back slightly and kissed me. I smiled and pulled back after about ten seconds. I gave the girl in the window a dirty look when she handed me the food I then said "Thanks." I laced our hands back together. We walked over to the benches under this tarp to keep the sun out. We sat next to each other. I put my head on his shoulder. He laughed and said "Babe? We need ketchup" I laughed and said "We do! I'll go get it." Naturally the ketchup was in the window with the girl, probably because it was so late. I walked up the the window and said "Hey. Can I have to ketchup?" she smirked and said "sure" getting one of those little white paper cups and throwing it at me. I was expecting this and backed up and it barely missed me. She had two more sitting in the window for me. I grabbed them and said "Thanks. And do me a favor keep your eyes off my boyfriend bitch" I walked back over to Luke and he said "I heard what you said to her, not jealous babe? Really?" I just laughed and said "Whatever." He kissed me on the cheek and we continued to eat. After we finished he smirked and said "Can we go on that scary ride again?" I gave him a dirty look and said "No." He pouted and we walked over to the rides and rode a bunch of rides until we has enough tickets left to ride the Ferris Wheel. We got in one of those little cars on the Ferris Wheel and started going around. Other people were on it and they stopped us at the top. I looked over the side and could see everything. I looked over to Luke who was staring at me smiling I laughed and said "I should have been a romantic and waited to kiss you up here" he laughed and said "Yeah. Or I could have kissed you first." I smirked and said "Yeah. You could of." After we got off that Luke wanted to win me a huge stuffed Gorilla. So he tried and tried after about 5 try's he won. I kissed him and said "Good job babe" he smiled and said "Thank you" we started walking back towards the entrance he laced our hands together. I looked down at them and smiled. He opened the car door for me and I climbed in. He got in then the drive drive us back to the arena. When we got back Luke asked "Wanna hang out in our bus?" I smiled and said "Sure" we walked over to his bus. Hand in hand. He opened the door and everyone awed and said "Is Abbuke real?!" I laughed and Luke said "Abbuke?" Calum smiled and said "Ship name. I guess some fans saw you guys and now you're Abbuke" I laughed and said "Yeah. It's real." Claire smiled and said "Yay!" Alison laughed and said "He's a keeper. Luke don't you dare hurt her" Claire laughed and said "We will kill you." I laughed and they hugged me. I can see new friendships beginning.
