Y/N POV
It's been a couple days since I was stopped by Alexander. Things went back to normal with him. Especially the fact that he glares at me. Like a lot. But I guess it's what it is.

There was a knock at the door. I was still getting dressed for the day so Father opened the door. As I was walking down the stairs I heated a familiar voice.

"Please just let me." Philip begged

"I will not. You are a disgrace to the Hamilton name. I will not allow my daughter to have such a terrible name." Father answered

"Please, sir! I really care about her. I want her in my life!" Philip pleaded

"You are a cheater. You're a player. You will not court my daughter." Father told him sternly

"Father. What is going on?" I asked

"Y/N. You will not be with this man any longer." He told me

"What? Why!" I yelled

"Because. I was downtown with Tomm- I mean Thomas and I saw him with another woman." He told me

"That was my sister, Angie!" Philip told him

"Then why were you kissing her?" Father yelled

The room fell silent

"Fine. I was with my sister, but her best friend, Theodosia, kissed me. I tried to stop her. She wouldn't let me stop the kiss. I didn't kiss her back, I promise!" Philip yelled back

I ran upstairs and put my face in my pillow and started crying. The door opened and it was Father.

"We are moving to Monticello. You have no say in this. You need to get away from the Hamiltons." Father told me

"No! I'm not going to be put up in a house with hundreds and hundreds of slaves!" I yelled

"You are never seeing that boy again." Father told me

"What is I love him?" I yelled

"That is not love. It is nearly a crush." Father yelled extremely loud

I grabbed a suit case and packed up my dresses and my stuffed animals. I ran out the front door while my father was yelling at me to get back in the house. I left in a carriage.
