I was sleeping and in the middle of the fucking night. There it was. The crying of Evie. I got up and ran over to her and picked her up and tried to quiet her down as fast as I could before she woke up her twin brother, Alexander.
And then Alexander woke up. And then Philip woke up, also screaming and crying like Evie and Alexander, but worse.
I put Evie down and went over to Philip and put a sock in his mouth and pushing him down and tucking him into bed and went to take care of Alexander and Evie.
After I finally got them to bed and go to sleep I was finally able to go to sleep. For an hour.
