As I get off the ship about a week and s half later I look for Y/N. I need to find her.
A few minutes pass and I find Y/N. She's with Lafayette. Anyway, I started to walk up to her and I heard
"What does Alexander say? Lez go?" Lafayette said
"Y/N!" I yelled without thinking
She slowly turned around while Lafayette was already turned around.
"Philip? What are you doing here?" She asked
God I missed her. I really missed her. I really wanted to hug her and kiss her right there but I know Lafayette. He would make really weird faces at me for kissing her. Like "😏" faces. And say get a room.
"I couldn't stay in New York knowing you were here. I couldn't stay away." I said
"Philip. We can talk later but lets just go get a drink." She said walking away with her H/C hair blowing back in the wind and her F/C dress moving when she moved. I couldn't wait to spend time with her.
Lafayette was still giving me that look. I mean seriously, why?
Anyway we got to the bar and we sat down and got some drinks
"So what guys do you like here?" Lafayette asked her and her face went red. It was adorable when her face was red.
"Um one guy. That's it." She said
Ok now I'm slightly worried it's not me. I mean what if it's not me? Or what if she's trying to trick me into thinking it's not me but it's really me? I don't know anymore.
"Who?" He asked with the smirk on his face
"Philip.... or is it?" She said, this is the one thing she does best. Make me jealous.
"So Philip, Who do you like in this room?" Lafayette asked
"One girl. And I don't like her, I love her, and it's the whole world. I would follow her to the ends of the earth if I had to." I said
"Wow. One thing you're great at. Being cheesy." Y/N said
"But I'm not trying to. I'm trying to get you to realize how much I love you. And how much I miss you. How much I yell at my father to let you come over. How much I begged your father to let me court you. When you stayed at my house, I would go to Mr. Madisons house and beg him to let me court you. I love you Y/N. And this is not the booze talking. This is me." I said
"... I love you too." She said
"I'm sorry I gotta go get back on the ship. I only have enough money to get me here and back on the same day. Bye, I love you beautiful." I said and kissed her goodbye and left
