I was on the bow of the ship. I headed for France. But at this time as an American to go to France, was dangerous. The ship could robbed easily. And also the French hate us. Like a lot. The only comforting thing about this trip, is Laf was going to meet me when I got off the boat. I guess that's ok. I guess. I was still scared though. Because there is also the British ransacking American boats and taking sailors and making them join the navy. Only because ours is better. They need to learn to pay and give better food to their navy.
*time skip to France*
"Lafayette!" I yelled
"Y/N! Mon ami!" He yelled back pulling me into a hug
"L-Laf" I said in a strained voice
"Oui?" He asked
"I-I cat breath" I strained
"Oh I'm so, how you say? Sorry!" He said as he pulled out of the hug
"It's fine Laf, but right now I need a drink, and when I'm drunk, I'll most likely tell you everything about my life." I told him
"How does Alexander day it? Lez go?" He said
