"I'll be there shortly." Katrina mumbled, and clicked off, she placed her hands over her face, she was shaking, she looked down at her phone and went downstairs. She wasn't thinking clearly, her throat hurt, and she needed a glass of water, she went to put the food away that she attempted to make.

She wanted to know what was going on, so she called the security office.

"This is Katrina, are those men still there?" She asked, hoping they were gone, so that she could leave. There was a long pause, and she heard the guard talking to someone. "You need to stay inside Mrs. Givenchy, I... I don't know where they went, the car is parked on the side, but they aren't in the vehicle." Katrina quietly sat where she was. "Okay." She whispered, clutching her phone; Shaking, she stood up and headed for Jared's knife. This was the second time she felt unsafe in her own home, she stormed in the kitchen and found her hiding spot that Jared would never look in and pulled out a small blade that she was going to give him.

"Now I have to buy him his jacket." She thought, rubbing tears from her eyes. She didn't want to buy him the jacket he wanted, because he told her he would constantly wear it out in public. In big letters in the back it read, 'Good boys need dick too'. At the time Katrina was curious to know Jared's nasty side. She also bought him a hunting knife so that he could practice with his father, but she hid it in the drawer, just for kicks, she wanted him to open the blade first.

She breathed in and decided to put the food away, she wanted to feel safe, and normal, a lot happened today, and it made her wonder how her health was doing. She was under so much stress; As she was almost done putting the meat in the fridge, she heard a knock at her door, she paused, and silently put the blade down, she slowly walked to the door.

"Who is it?" Katrina shockingly croaked, trying to look through the peephole, it was too high for her, she gripped the knife. "Katrina..." A familiar voice yelled from the other side.. "Who is it?" Katrina angrily yelled back. "It has to be those men.." She pulled out her phone and texted her sister.

"Mel.. Please come over, some man is at my door."

Her sister immediately texted her back.

"We were already on our way, we knew something was up when you told us not to come, we'll be there soon."

Katrina felt relieved, she placed the blade in her pocket, and silently ran and grabbed her small gun from underneath the couch. She knew how to fight.. She's watched enough Kung Fu movies to know how to seriously hurt a man.

The man on the other side yelled again.

"Look... We need to talk." He grumbled.

"If you don't step away from this door, you're going to get hurt." She bravely spoke.

The two men looked at each other and stepped away from her door. Katrina pressed the panic button on the side to let the guard know that they were there. She stood her ground, happily knowing that it wasn't a loud alarm, or flashing lights to warn them either. The security guard was right, those men were dumb as a box of rocks, if they were serious, they would have either grabbed her stepping out of the elevator, or bust down her door.

The men silently stood on the side of her door whispering amongst each other, she sounded like she was packing, so they went farther off to the side so that she couldn't hear them.

"Fucking Devlin, what did he do? Train this girl in Armenia or some shit?" The man with the long beard asked his younger companion. The other man shook his head and rolled his eyes, he knew that wasn't the case. "She's going to kill us if we try opening her door!" He fiercely whispered, two men in uniforms stepped out from the side of them, a flashlight shown on their faces. "What are you doing in this hallway?" One of the officers asked.
