Chapter Ten. Lights.. Camera..

Katrina nervously went back into the warehouse, scratching at her hands.

She could hear the men whispering in the main room.

It was only Richard strapped to a chair, his head was all the way back and his mouth wide opened, Katrina gasped and stepped back. Once Jacopo seen her, he rushed over to her. "He's not dead.. He's just unconscious." He exclaimed, worried. Katrina tried to look around for Devlin but couldn't find him. "What's going on dear?" He uttered, she sighed and scratched at her hands. "I was meaning to talk to Brian." She whispered to him, Jacopo nodded. "You can always wait until they have him strapped to a hospital bed." He whispered. "Kenning's said you could visit him.. Just.. Have them call him if there's any problems." He looked around the warehouse, eyeing Kennings on the phone with the other departments. "Police are getting ready to be here soon... If you're in here, then there's going to be a lot of questions." Jacopo murmured.

Katrina nodded and smiled, Jacopo gave her a bear hug, and went back over to the men, she turned around and went back to the car, inside, everyone was asleep, she sighed and tugged on Ivan. "Hey.. We have to go." She murmured, Ivan woke up, and gave her a side look. "Where's Devlin?" He asked, Katrina shrugged, he sat up and turned the car on and wiped his eyes.

"I didn't get any sleep for three nights.." He addressed, he put the car back in reverse and left the warehouse. "Me either." Katrina whispered, Ivan widened his eyes at her. "You? Miss early bird." He exclaimed, Katrina softly smiled at him. "Just, been hard these past couple of day's." She grumbled, Ivan laughed. "I hear ya... It's not healthy either.. You know.. With the baby.." He sighed.

It was an awkward silence, until they heard Jude snore and both relaxed.

Karina looked back at Jude and Jared who were asleep on each other. "He's probably with Tevan." Ivan added, pulling in to Devlin's driveway, his family were all outside of their cars. "Oh shit.. This is going to be awkward." Ivan groaned, and parked next to Armen's rental. "Hey guys wake up." Ivan gruffly demanded at them, Jared opened his eyes and looked around, a bunch of people were outside of the car staring at them. "Agh.." Jared tiredly grumbled. "I'm dropping Katrina off and taking you guys back to the warehouse so that you could get your car." Ivan advised, Jared sighed with relief. "So.. We don't have to go out there?" He looked out the window, seeing a skinny kid wearing a suit, and smoking a cigarette, he also seen that most of his cousin's had the same cold expression as Devlin. "No." Ivan sighed, Jared closed his eyes again. "But I need you to drive.. We have to switch.. I'm tired as hell." Ivan grumbled, Jared softly sighed and opened his eyes. "Okay.. Can I get up there from inside instead of getting out?" He nervously asked, Ivan smirked. "It's Devlin's car not mine.. But go ahead." He chuckled, Katrina anxiously opened the door, and seen Ivan move to the passenger side, she waved at them and slowly walked to Devlin's door, she paused.

"Hello Katrina!" Armen yelled, and Katrina turned around and shyly waved at them. "We see you inside." A woman chimed, she nodded and rushed in the house and closed the door, her eyes were closed and she sighed with relief.

"Rough night?" Jessica exclaimed, sitting on the couch eating breakfast, Katrina opened her eyes and smiled. "Yeah." She lightly said, Jessica patted the couch next to her and slowly chewed her food, she watched as Katrina wobbled over to her and sat down. "You are the only woman in the entire world that Devlin does things for..." She stated, smiling, Katrina smiled back at her. "Are you guys back together?" She whispered, her face was hopeful, Katrina was going to nod, but paused. "I don't know." She truthfully admitted, Jessica nodded and wiped her hands. "Well my dumbass brother better hurry up and ask you out again.. Because it's nice that you're my sister." She murmured and smiled, Katrina smiled back. "I can't wait until tonight, I've been dying to meet your sister's.. Devlin tell's me a lot about them." Jessica exclaimed, Katrina smiled. "I think you'll get along with Melanie and Helen." She slowly murmured and laughed, Jessica laughed with her. "I never grew up with sisters, how is that?" She eagerly asked, Katrina leaned on the pillow, it felt good on her back.
