Katrina listened as the couple in front held hands and whispered to each other.

She still couldn't believe that they were together.

It was new for her.

The soft hum of the engine made her relaxed.

She was relieved that the men were home.

"Getting paid all of this money has me thinking.. I want to get a private jet, having this job." Jude muttered. "Yeah.. But this time, the flight was cheap, and I'm glad it was.. Other wise, I wouldn't be happy right now, and Katrina would be having sex." Jared whispered, he looked back and winked at her. "I'm right here..." She grumbled, Jared laughed. "I know.. I still haven't punished you yet."

"We paid for you already at the diner if that's what you're thinking." Jared said low, grinning at her. "Although.. That waitress was rude at first." He laughed, Katrina rolled her eyes. "She was nice to me." She muttered, he chuckled. "I'm glad we did, because we are not going back there." Jared whispered, somehow they kept running in to Brian in that area, he nervously looked at Jude and cleared his throat. "Anyway's... I know I was a train wreck earlier.. I'm just letting you know, that from now on, I won't cry like that in front of you anymore.. I'm sorry.." He said in a deep and manly voice, Jude nodded with approval, smiled, and silently sighed with relief.

Katrina curiously widened her eyes at Jared, and bit her lip, she kept quiet. She didn't mind him being himself around her, but somehow, Jude was keeping him in check, and she wasn't sure if she liked it or not. "I can't judge.. It's their relationship.. He probably doesn't like it when Jared gets too emotional." She furrowed her brow at Jared and rubbed his face. "You know I don't care." She smiled, Jared embarrassingly cleared his throat and looked up at her. "I know you don't.." He laughed. "I still need to stop." He nodded, and furrowed his brow. "He is trying hard to be manly.. I wonder what's up with that?" Katrina thought, she watched as he shyly smiled back at Jude, and he grinned and rubbed Jared's hand, Jude glanced at Katrina in the rear view mirror.

Katrina realized Jude was a lot like Devlin when it came to relationships.

"Duhh.. He hangs out with him almost everyday."

"I hope he's not mad at me with the whole Brian thing... He seems like he is..."

Katrina looked down at her hands.

"His touch was soo warm.. And soft, and he smelled like maple and vanilla, a tough male cologne I'm guessing... The way he squints his eyes when he listens to you... His eyes are piercing green, like an emerald green, it almost looks crystal like..."

She shook her head at the thought. "I'm thinking about Brian." She admitted out loud, then embarrassingly swallowed and looked down at her hands. Jude gave Jared a cautious look, then his eyes softened once he seen that Jared was worried, he drove in silence, Jared gave her a soft smile. "She just had to say that out loud... Dammit girl..." He couldn't help but silently chuckle at his best friend, but it bothered him that she couldn't see how Brian looking like Bryce was a serious problem.

"You shouldn't be thinking about him.. Although Devlin's a demon in disguise, he's still your boyfriend." He sternly said, Katrina smiled at him. "I know.. I just, don't know why I'm thinking about him... Like this... Since I can't see them as the same anymore.. It's making me think about him a lot more than I should." She softly spoke. "They don't look alike at all?" Jared curiously asked her, Jude frowned and elbowed him, he wasn't helping her. To him, he thought they looked exactly alike and it was a problem..

"No, not at all.. He has a fatherly essence to him.. And his face.. He's different from Bryce..." She uttered. "Katrina.. Get that out of your head right now." Jude uncomfortably said, he didn't like that she had her attention on another man besides his friend.
