Walking out of Devlin's office wasn't so bad. Everyone gathered around, eating and talking about work. Katrina felt relieved that no one noticed the two bravely exiting the room.

Except for two people who waited patiently near the corner.

Eyeing them with suspicion.

Giving them death glares, and showing teeth. Jasmine swiftly went towards them, holding a cake and a balloon.

"I brought you something!" She said so loud a few people stopped what they were doing to look their way. Devlin with low eyes looked up at her and down at the cake.

"I'll pass."

He quickly said, adjusting his tie and turned to leave them. Jasmine just stared at him open mouthed and then glared at Katrina shooting her daggers.

"We'll discuss later abot' the circumstances of today."He turned around and said so low at Katrina, she just nodded her head and looked over at Mr. Seattle. He was so close to her that she could smell his strong cologne. Devlin kept walking and Katrina tried leaving as well, but Mr. Seattle cut her short.

"Katrina I need to speak to you for a moment." He mumbled, with her back turned to him, she rolled her eyes and turned around with a smile that could make animals calm. "What is it Mr. Seattle?" Ian sneered at her; Angry with her tone of voice, and the utter disappointment of Katrina not respecting him in the work place.

He's had it.

He was going to yell, but then remembered Devlin sneaking up behind him, so he cleared his throat and motioned his hand for her to come to him. "You are aware that you are only filling a spot for a certain someone, and once that certain someone comes back, you're all mine to deal with on the first floor." He grounded out.

"I'm aware." Katrina drawled, and then shocked at herself for the attitude she gave him, she just silently stared at him. She was done with him; When she first arrived at Danielyan Incorporation, she thought she met someone who was kind and sassy like Jared, she knew now she was wrong. For some reason, Mr. Seattle was treating her like an employee that's been there for years.

"Does he even get that I'm still new here?" Katrina, knew the answer to that one. "Of course he doesn't care, he thinks I got him in trouble."

Jasmine watched the two with surprise, she thought maybe if she could get Mr. Seattle and Katrina together, Katrina would stay away from Devlin, then she scowled at the thought of seeing them both exit his office. She was already annoyed that she had to shadow Mr. Seattle all day, she pressed him to call Devlin about work, and from the looks of those two, her plans did not succeed.

"Could I go get some coffee and finish my work Mr. Seattle?" Jasmine pleasantly said with a huge smile, that Mr. Seattle gave her one in return. "At least someone acknowledges that I am a manager." He thought annoyed.

"Yes, you may." He chirped.

Katrina just wanted to go home. It was ten o clock, and she was getting sick of Jasmine staring her up and down like she was better than her, and Mr. Seattle talking to her like she was an idiot.

"Let's step into your office." He cracked, rolling his eyes like she wasn't going to have it for long. Katrina went to her office and stood by the door for him waiting to get by. He tried to close the door once she stepped in, but she grabbed the door handle and pushed the door open, and went to her desk. He sat in the chair opposite from her, he spoke so low, Katrina couldn't hear him.

"What was that?" She exclaimed; Picking up a tiny disinfectant spray, and put one pump into the air, hoping Mr. Seattle couldn't smell her.. And Devlin.
