Devlin walked out from the bushes, and stepped in the light, at least twenty men stopped what they were doing once they seen him.

"Hey devvvllliinn." Ricky sang, the men all had dancing eyes. "What a pleasant surprise!" The group laughed, except for Devlin, he angrily kept his eyes on Ian, Ian couldn't look Devlin in the face, he shakingly took a sip of his beer. Devlin eyed them all, Ricky and Mark stood next to each other smiling at Devlin, a couple of the men, he's remembered, but the rest were unfamiliar to him. "Who are they? People you hired for protection?" Devlin said low, giving all of the men a menacing look.

Ricky rolled his eyes and smiled.

"Now Devlin? I haven't seen you since that.. Lovely dinner that I had with you." The men chuckled. "And this is how you say hi?"

"I didn't come here to say hi..." Devlin growled.

"What happened to us hanging out? You completely ditched me man..Which.. None taken, I mean, you have Ivan and crazy ass Jude and all... But dude? My mother died... And you didn't want nothing to do with me... Or my brother?" He nodded towards Mark.

Mark widened his eyes, then lowered them.

Devlin sighed, and cracked his knuckles, cocking his head to the side. "So this is wat this is? I didn't hang out with you, so you send Hershell out to kill me?" Ricky furrowed his brow. "Wait what? What the fuck are you talking about?" He asked him confused, Devlin sneered at him. "You know what the fuck I'm talking abot!" His voice echoed through the woods, Ivan swallowed from his spot, he had his phone in his hands. "No, I don't.. Enlighten me on this situation of yours? Hershell?... Tried to kill you?" Ricky said, laughing with each sentence.

Devlin stood up straight.

"You wanna act like a dumbass that's great.. Be a man tho and own up to your bullshit." Mark laughed. "Hey? How's that black beauty of yours? I hear, she's doing well?" Devlin rushed them and punched Ricky in the face.

Shocked, Ricky looked down at his hands, blood dripped out of his mouth and nose, the group of men cornered Devlin. One of them tried to hit him, Devlin caught the guy with his hand, and bent his arm back, holding him.

"Wait! Stop it!" Ricky screamed, knowing where this was going. "Stop it Devlin! He's fifteen!" He shouted, the kid below him violently screamed, Devlin almost broke his arm. "Devlin.. We heard what you did to Hershell.. And what you did to Hunter..." He said in a calming voice, with his hands up. "We are the same brother.. Remember? High School? Remember we used to ditch and go eat pizza, bro come on?" He groaned.

"Ya that all stopped when I almost got killed... When my best friend is currently in the fucking hospital becos of you sick fucks!" Devlin shouted, Ricky swallowed. "I'm in charge of this kid, if you break his arm his family is going to sue me, and I go to jail! You know how kennings get?" Ricky screamed. 

Some of them began fidgeting, and looked to Ricky for help.

"Wait? This is Devlin?" One of them said.

"The guy that killed Jonathon?" Another said.

They all stepped closer to him, Devlin pushed the kid forward, but still held on to his arms. "We had no idea your friend got shot? You guys left the state so fast how could we have known?" Devlin let out an animalistic growl, and threw the kid on the floor. He stalked towards Ricky and towered over him. "We were just trying to scare you! We didn't mean to actually shoot someone!" Ricky yelled, shaking.

"You didn't mean it huh?" Devlin sneered, balling his hands into a fist, he quickly grabbed Ian by the neck, Ian screamed, and dropped his beer. "Please don't let him kill me!" Ian shouted, looking at the men for support, but the men just stood there. "You should have known! From this piece of shit." Devlin said low, tightening his grip, someone grabbed Ian by the arms and tried to pull him free, but Devlin shoved them away, causing the man to fall on the floor. "Where the fuck is she?" Devlin asked them all.
