Devlin tiredly went over it again with his friends.

They were at Katrina's house.

It was day five.

"Don't tell me to search there, when I already fucking did dat." Devlin sneered.

"We need to check the abandos' near our houses then?" Jude explained, holding on to the map of Minerva, Melanie had her hands over her face. She was quietly sitting in the corner of her sister's home.

She had never expected to be out here like this.

Angel and Devlin's friends were quietly murmuring to each other in her kitchen.

Devlin spied her sister crying, so he made a small noise through his mouth, Jude and Ivan took the sign, and went out through the front door.

It was raining hard, and windy.

"D-Devlin where did you say she last worked?"

Morena quietly asked him from Katrina's couch.

"Kale & Ford." Devlin thickly said. "Do we need to check there?" Devlin swallowed a lump. "Fuck it; That bastard Roderick is going to pay.. I know this has something to do with him."
"Yes.. You do; I'll text you the address, you and Christopher head down there now." She nodded, and grabbed Christopher's hand and headed out the door. Angel, Christopher, Melanie, and Morena, were the only ones in Minerva.. He didn't want the others to worry.

"I tried to request for a week off, but my boss only gave me three days." Melanie softly said. "What a dick." Devlin angrily thought; He nodded, he didn't want to tell her family, but the fourth day she was missing, he couldn't take it anymore.

"Did you tell them your sister is missing?"

Melanie nodded.

"I'm buying you a plane ticket home, I can't risk you losing your job." Devlin murmured, Melanie looked at him in shock.

"Devlin no.. I need to be here today.. She is my sister, I need to be here..." She murmured.

"Okay." He softly said, he nodded and put his hand on her shoulder, she took his hand and began to cry. "I can't believe this... First Jared and now Katrina.. This fucking sucks." She cried, snot dripped out of her nose, and she wiped it with her shirt, Devlin handed her a tissue, the other men in the room looked at her. Devlin had never heard Melanie curse, it was very unusual for her. "Like Katrina.." He anxiously thought, regretting the stress that he put on her in Catalina.

He breathed out and stalked out the door.

"Ur yes gnum?" Where are you going? His mother shouted after him, he went straight across the street; He didn't know if he was going crazy, he knew there was no way that she left her house without anyone else noticing, Devlin watched that house like a hawk, he had seen no one else enter the home since he saw the little girl. "If she's a ghost, then she needs to point to the direction where Katrina ran off to."

He heard footsteps speed up from behind him.

It was Tevan.

He banged on the door.

"Hey! Open d door! I know you're in there." Devlin growled, he pounded harder. "Hey!" He yelled again. "Devlin we don't want to attract attention from the neighbors." Tevan nervously mumbled, Devlin kept pounding on the door.

"Or police." Tevan said low.

Jude sat in Ivan's car and gave him a worried look.
