"When was this?" Taehyung looks up into my eye."It's says the date on the right corner," I point out.
"What was I doing then?" He asks immediately.
"I think you were on a trip with your family or something," I raise a brow, thinking.
"Sorry, I wasn't there," he apologizes.
"No! It wasn't your fault," I shake my head.
"No, I wasn't there to help you," his head hangs low.
"Uh Taehyung," I sit down beside him.
"It's the past, it wasn't your fault. Don't beat yourself up," I say slowly.
"I'm sorry but can I ask what happened that made you write this?" He turns towards me now.
"Let me read it, I'll probably be able to remember," I smile.
"Here," he passes the book to me.
I take it as I scan through the words.'They fought again, she threatened him saying that if he ever came back home drunk she wouldn't let him live, it's not dad's fault. He says he drinks because he's too tired or at times 'tired of mom'.
I feel a lump forming in my throat.
I swallow hard as I read the next entry.'Dad says mom is not loyal, 'loyal' what does he mean?
I don't know, he says he is unhappy with her. Why? He doesn't smile like before anymore, Jungkook says it's because mom was not taking care of us well, I don't think so.'My head hurts now. I smile at the innocent words I wrote as the tears start rolling down my cheeks.
I sniff as I try to refrain from sobbing.Taehyung takes the book from my hand and closing it he places it beside us on the bed.
Now, I start crying. The emotions take over me as my head throbs with pain.
"Hey, come closer," Taehyung whispers.
I wipe my tears and when I take time to move closer, he moves instead. Hugging me instantly.
"I'm sorry I asked," he strokes my hair.
I shake my head, still in his hold, "don't be," I manage to say.
Pulling away from me he now looks into my eye. Taking hold of my jaw he wipes the tears with his thumbs. He shifts a little and I shut my eyes tight. Leaning foward, he places his soft lips on my forehead. I flush immediately and somehow the emotional turmoil I was stuck in seems to have disappeared.
Now all I can hear is the loud beating of my heart, he moves down a little, kissing the bridge of my nose. I smile now. He pulls away to look into my eye again and I see the redness of his cheeks and somehow it makes me feel happy I'm not the only one blushing like crazy here. what was I doing now? I couldn't decipher. Was this all really happening? My heart hammers against my chest as he moves closer.
I then find him staring at my lips and I nod, somehow I felt that this was the right thing to do. Maybe I would regret it but let's live the moment.
He smiles as he tilts his head, brushing his nose slightly against my own,he presses his lips against mine. The butterflies are back in my stomach, dancing in a crazy pace, fluttering their wings around. It felt euphoric and I was afraid it would only last for so long.
He moves his lips against mine and I do the same. My hands reach out to his hair and I pull him closer, causing us to loose balance as we fall back onto the bed.
He giggles and so do I.
"Can I co-" he stops as someone fiddles with the handle of the door to the room. I straighten up immediately and Taehyung sits up.
"Who could it be?" I ask in horror.
"It's mom! I'm sure!" He whispers.
The sounds that follows tell me that someone is locking the door.
"We need to stop them!" I whisper frantically
"It's mom! You might as well let her behead me!" He hisses.
Then the door is locked and the person once more tries to open the door and when it doesn't they leave without a word.
"How do you know it's her?" I lift a brow.
"She's my mom, I can feel her presence," he shakes his head.
"Don't be stupid Tae!" I hiss.
"Now What? Stay in here forever?" I lift a brow.
"We haven't even tried calling some-"
"We left our belongings in the car and that includes our phones too," I sigh.
"Wait! We could scream for help or something?! Through the window," his eyes widen.
"Let's try," I say softly.
My cheeks still feel hot and somehow we ignored that topic at the moment all we focused was on leaving the house.
I walked towards the window, watching the car parked outside. If it was his mom she surely wouldn't lock the door cause she must have seen the car while she entered. This person surely had to have been inside the house before we did.
I turn to Taehyung to explain but he seems to be thinking the same thing as he stares at the car with wide eyes.
Who could it be? My thoughts were all around the place. A thief? What were they after? There's not much of valuables left behind in this house.
And to answer all those questions that run through my mind the person himself walks outside the house. He stops immediately as he sees the car parked outside. Confused he looks up.
