"Did he leave?" I ask for the umpteenth time this night."No," Taehyung sighs.
"Have you siblings lost your senses or something?" He questions.
I glare at him as I walk to sit on his bed.
"Not. The. box," he says.
"What's so great about this box anyways?"I pick it up as I examine it. He snatches it away.
"No means no," he glares at me.
"Whatever," I mutter.
He places the box on one of the shelves beside his bed as he sits beside me.
"What kind of a dream did you have?" He asks.
"I don't remember but it sure was a bad one cause when I woke up I was sweating and also I think I cried?!?" I gasp.
"Is it about your da-"
"Yea...it is...I'm sure it is," I look away.
"It always circles back to that doesn't it?"he smiles sadly.
"Hmm....Taehyung," I say.
"Yes?"
"I wanna stop these dreams, I want to be brave like how dad wanted me to be,"I fall on to the soft mattress.
"You are brave, Jennie,"he turns to look at me.
"No, don't lie, someone brave wouldn't run away from home," I laugh bitterly.
"Someone who isn't brave wouldn't step outside the house, but you did. Taking care of your brother, helping and leading him. All that shows how brave you are, also this is your new home now. Don't call that home, that was a monster's den," he mutters.
I chuckle at the last sentence, "but I really did run away," I say.
"You din't!" He says sharply.
"What were your responsibilities when you were there?" He asks.
"Washing? Cleaning? Studying? Taking care of Jungkook! Als-"
"You do all that here too don't you?" He questions.
"Yea but th-"
"You din't run away from anything, Jennie," he smiles.
And I'm convinced. This guy could be calling me an angel even after I have murdered someone and I would be convinced that I truly was one. I was confused. I did run away but as Taehyung mentioned I never did run away from by responsibilities and that was all that I needed to know.
"How do I get over my fear of seeing the crimson sky?" I mumble.
"Maybe you could learn to think of something else when you look up at it," he says.
"Like what?" I ask curiously.
"Hmm..red apples?" He suggests.
"I don't like them either,"I scrunch my nose.
"The red roses? The redness of your cheeks when you blush or how red they turn when I'm around you," he continues to suggest.
"I can't see how red my cheeks turn when I bl- STOP TEASING ME," I glare at him.
"I will," he says as he chuckles.
"Taehyung, I'm trying to be serious here!" I whisper.
"Okay so you wanna know how red your cheeks turns when you blush?" He asks.
"No I don't," I look away. He then lies down beside me and nuzzles his head into my hair. Uh I can't stop myself from blushing!
I try to pry him off.
"Stop trying to sexually harass me," I pinch his cheeks as I stand up. Though I seemed calm on the outside my heart was beating rapidly and I thought I would collapse any moment.
"Remember this every time you look up at the red sky," he smirks.
I chuckle as I try to leave the room. I'm Thank full that Jungkook decided to take a break from video games cause I hear sounds in the kitchen. So I use this opportunity to rush back into my room.
