"Okay,"I say and he smiles.
"Really? Are you okay with it?"
"Yea but I'll have to discuss with Jungkook," but I already can imagine him nodding to it with a smile plastered on his face. I don't think he would have any problem.
"Thank you Taehyung, you are of great help, thank you," I smile.
"Ahh will you stop with the 'Thank you'?"
I simply giggle.
"Oh my! Mom's gonna be mad when she gets to know that I haven't visited her still," he sighs.
"Woah! Did you take the 'meet me first when you reach Seoul' seriously?" I ask.
He simply shrugs.
"You're screwed, she's gonna be madd,"I drag the words.
"Uh, I miss Taehee, let's get done with this faster, so we can visit them earlier," he says and I nod.
Once done with the food he pays before we exit the restaurant.
"So how is life in Daegu?" I ask.
"Neither good nor bad," he sighs, " it's kinda lonely," he continues.
I take in a deep breath before I exhale watching my cold breath linger around me in the cold air.
"Study, eat, sleep, those are the only things I have done in these past months, also Yeontan helps a lot in keeping me from feeling lonely," he smiles.
"He is an attention seeker and needs to be treated with care," he giggles.
I can already imagine the little ball of fluff roaming around the apartment with Taehyung behind him. I smile at the thought.
"I seriously wish he likes you," he says now looking into my eye.
"Yea, I'm guessing he is your little world now?" I ask.
"Yes, you could say that," he looks up into the red crimson sky and I follow. Winter was beginning and the days filled with sunlight seemed to end faster, it annoyed me cause it meant that I had to see the red sky again. It reminded me of the flames and I din't want that, I shook off my thoughts.
In a few minutes we reached home. Taehyung gives me a brief hug before leaving to his house and I walk to mine. I have a whole lot of things to share with Jungkook. As I knock on the door I hear laughter from the next door, his parents must be happy. I smile to myself as I wait for the door in front of me to open and when it doesn't I slowly pull out my keys to open the door.
"Jungkook?" I whisper as I walk into the now dark corridor.
I see light in the kitchen turn off and I have already confirmed that this little bastard was trying to pull pranks on me.
"Ahh! I'm scared," I fake as he walks into the corridor sheepishly.
"Uh I tried," he says in defeat.
I don't waste any time. I'm sure mom isn't here yet cause she needs time to seduce the guys, well getting old by the day doesn't help her.
"Jungkook, I need to talk. How about Daegu? Can we leave for Daegu? With Taehyung? We can stay with him. Is it alright with you?" I ask.
His face seems to glow once I mention the topic.
"You know we wouldn't need much money if we share an apartment with Taehyung, it would help u- "
"Noona, I have no objections. I'll follow you. I'll go along with you," he smiles.
I give him a tight hug, breaking down. I din't know why but I felt like crying. Maybe because I din't want to leave this place. Maybe because he was being too nice to me. Maybe because I din't expect this situation to come up so early. Though I knew it would eventually come to this, I did not expect it to be this early. All of these emotions swirled inside me and I,cried.
He hugged me and let me cry. He never complained.
"Noona, don't cry. We are finally going to be free, we're leaving this place like we had planned for all these years," he says as he rubs soothing circles onto my back.
I nod as I wipe away the tears.
"Let's start packing, we will have to leave by the end of this week," I say.
His face seems to get brighter now. He nods enthusiastically.
"Yes! Let's go!" He says and I follow him as he climbs the stairs to our rooms.
