It has a been a week since we moved into Taehyung's apartment. There were awkward times when I walked into him during the day and I would simply smile and rush back into my room.Maybe I did have feelings for him but I couldn't decide what kind they were of. Maybe the little crush I had as a teenager had grown into something bigger in these years but I was in no position to look after that and think.
I had enough to handle and I wouldn't run away from my responsibilities. That's what I had planned.
Jungkook had already joined school. He was busy and he even boasted about how the people in the football club were really nice to him.
He even talked about girls who followed him everywhere and to me it seemed like he was scared of them. I had laughed so much when he told about how one of them was insisting on him accepting her confession and even tried following him to the toilets.
As for me today was my first day attending this university. I was excited and nervous at the same time. Would people accept me? Well they never knew who I was and how I ran away from home but I was scared.
Taehyung's parents had informed me that my mom had already informed the police about us but it was quite hard to track us because we hadn't left the country. They probably din't know where to start from. There were so many possibilities.
Now I knew I needed to be careful. I had no intention of being caught and thrown back to her. Every time I heard the siren my heart would beat faster as though they were behind me and I would start sweating profusely.
It took me time to calm myself and one more thing was added to my slowly growing 'list of fears' now with the crimson sky being on the top of the list.I walked slowly into the campus. This place was huge. They had immediately accepted my application and the bonus was that Taehyung's university was just beside mine. Also I din't have to pay much for the fees as my grades were good enough and the apartment was close by so I din't really have to spend too much on the transport either.
I was happy and contented. Though I felt bad that I was living off Taehyung I couldn't contain my excitement. I could easily spot the first years among the crowd here, after all they had the same expression as mine on their faces, one of amusement and joy.
"Hey!" A girl waved at me. She had long slender legs, doll like eyes and caramel colored haired. I turned around to see who she was waving at but she immediately shook her head.
She pointed at me before smiling again. I smiled back muttering a little 'hi'.
She walked to me and spoke a little broken Korean. I believe she must be new to Korea.
"New here? Well I am and I'm lost, I need to find the hall where the welcoming ceremony is held for the freshman, "she sighed, "any idea where it is?"
I shook my head. "Join me in the hunt?" She asked.
"Sure!" I smiled.
