Once we reach my room Taehyung sits down on the bed and I walk around slowly gathering the important thing I need."What's that?" Taehyung asks as he point at the book I'm holding.
"Ah..this, just stuff," I smile awkwardly.
It was an old book, torn at the edges due the endless times I used to simply toss it on to my bed. It wasn't something very important but I remember maintaining this book. Whenever I cried or felt helpless and wanted to express my thoughts this was where or more like who I used to share things with.
Not all things in the there were sad. A good lot of happy times were a part of this book too.I had stopped writing at some point but now that I found it I wanted to read it. I already knew I would cringe, a lot in fact, but maybe thinking about those days would be better. Maybe this would help me get a better glance at the good times. Maybe I could register it in my mind so well that I could forget what really was happening.
I smile at the thought, leaving the present and moving back to the past."Why are you smiling?" Taehyung asks with a frown.
"Uh..nothing," I put the book in the bag in which my other belongings are kept in and continue searching for particular things.
"Nothing? Jennie, you were just standing there for about five minutes and smiling, at nothing?" He frowns.
"Uh mister nosy, Shutup," I shush him.
"What's that book? School books? Nah you won't carry them back, if given a chance you might as well burn them," he giggles.
I shake my head in disbelief.
"Hmm...diary??!" He wiggles his brows."No!" I deny immediately.
"Diary it is," he smirks.
"Yea it is,"I accept my defeat.
"Diaries are meant to be read," he smiles, "when did you start writing in that?" He continues to smile.
"Dairies are meant to be read by the one who wrote it not others also I think I started writing on...," I pull the book out of the bag to check the date, "25th of March, 2013," I smile back at him.
"You consider me 'others',"he frowns.
"Not exactly but I still wouldn't let you read it," I hold the book tightly.
"What did you write about, then?" He inquires.
"Do you realize that I don't want you to read cause I don't want you to know what I wrote," I lift a brow.
"oOoh then I should make sure that I read it," he giggles.
I shake my head and continue to gather my things.
"Lemme guess!" He whispers.
"Go ahead," I return my attention to him.
"Ahh...maybe something like, 'oh my gawd I love Taehyung so much! Remember that hawt neighbor guy," he muses, trying to imitate my voice.
I snicker at this thought as my cheeks flush, "Hey! I don't sound anything like that," I pout.
"Maybe to understand how you sound I should read that diary," he wiggles his brows.
"That doesn't make sense," I state.
"It's does, it means that you, should give the book to me to read."
"Not happening," I deadpan.
"I mean there's nothing great in there that you should know," I shrug.
"Okay then let me read it!" He looks straight into my eye.
I look away immediately and somehow minutes later he sits on the bed comfortably as he turns the golden-brown pages of the book.
I sit beside him, seeing to it that he doesn't read anything unwanted.
