"I'm lalisa, call me Lisa," she smiles.

"Lisa," I repeat.

"Yes," she grins.

"I'm Jennie," I say.

"Ohh nice name," she winks.

"Thank you," I whisper.

"Oh is this it?" She says as she points at the big wooden doors ahead of us.

"I guess so," I shrug.

I slowly walk to the door and push it open as I peek inside. I gasp at the number of people there. They were all scattered around in groups with cheerful expressions on their faces.

"Well this is it, seems like the ceremony hasn't started yet," I say to Lisa.

"That's a relief cause I thought I would be late on the first day," she sighs.

We open the doors fully as we enter the large halls. The stage is huge and I'm sure I would end up fainting if I was asked to talk standing there.

After a few minutes the ceremony begins. It was quite boring as everyone reminded us of the same thing but I managed not to end up sleeping as I was too excited to make new friends here.

"We have to collect those papers from the reception right? Uh there's gonna be a long queue. How about we wait in canteen and then later on go there? We'll have to wait anyways and also we don't really have anything scheduled for today," Lisa says.

"Sure and I don't really fancy waiting in long queues, not my thing," I laugh.

"So tell me about yourself," Lisa asks.

"Will you judge me?" I mutter.

"Oh no! I hate bitches who judge others. Use me as your personal diary," she whispers.

I din't know why but I felt good as though all the worries that had been built up inside me had been broken by this doll-eyed girl sitting in front of me.

"I ran away from home," I whisper as my head hangs low.

I only look up to see her reaction and her's was nothing like the one I had expected. She seemed as though that was the most simplest thing I could say.

"Well I did too," she mutters.

"What?" I ask bewildered.

"Yes Jennie I did too," she looks away.

"My father h-he abused me, day and night. He came back home drunk and I was h-his, he used t-to, uh damnit," sh wipes away her tears.

"You don't have to, it's alright," I whisper.

"No I want you to know cause after all you're the first person I can trust after I have stepped on this country," she says.

My eyes fill with tears as she speaks. No one had ever told those words to me before.

"My mom couldn't see me like that so she asked me to leave, you call that running away don't you?" She smiles sadly.

"No, you don't," I mutter.

"I ran away from that hell but I left mom behind. That's why I want to study then get a job and bring mom here," she whispered.

"But why din't she divorce him?" I ask.

"Money," she said sadly.

"She needed money to bring me up, she used all the money he gave her to educate me and book my flight tickets and all the other expenses," she looked away.

"Oh."

"That's my story, what about you?" She asked smiling.

"And don't feel pressurized to answer,"she says.

"No I want you to know mine too," I say slowly.

"Well at-least in my story my mom's the bad guy," I chuckle.

She smiles sadly, "so uh I don't know where to start form," I snicker.

And so I continue to narrate the incidents from one of the most horrendous nights of my life to her

Lisa's eyes turn large.

"What? Oh my god! What the fuck?!"

I chuckle at her reaction. When ever I recited those incidents to someone they always gave me a sad look but I enjoyed saying it to her cause her reactions were priceless.

"Yea she did and he was hospitalized and he died on the tenth day of being hospitalized," I looked away and the memories flash again.

"Oh my! But why did she do that? Was your dad abusive like mine? Actually no, he sounds more like a nice man. Your mom's just uh. Why did she do it??" She asked.

I really like this girl. Maybe because she had a childhood similar to me in some ways, she seemed easy to share my feelings with and the best thing was the way she reacted. I loved that.

"My dad's the best man I could have ever met in my life, though he came home drunk often," she gasped, "he never liked hurting anyone nor did he hurt anyone," I speak with proudness dripping from my words.

"Then why did she do that? Your mom," Lisa asks.

"She din't like my dad, she's had so many affairs," I sigh.

"She's a slut?!?" Lisa gasps.

"Yea she's a bitch," I say. Now that I was actually putting everything into words I felt better. I think I just found another person I could trust.

"Then what happened??"Lisa asks.

I chuckle at her curiosity, "well me and my brother were done with her shit and we ran away from home," I smile.

"Good," she remarked.

"I'm glad you did and it's great how you din't leave your brother behind,"she smiles proudly.

"But I did plan on but then I had promised Jungkook," I say.

"Jungkook?" She asks.

"Yea my brother," I say.

"Oh," she smiles.

"How old is he?"she continues.

"He's still in high school," I mutter.

Her smiles drops, "but I'm fine with younger men," her face brightens up again.

"Don't even, he's annoying as fuck," I say.

She nods, "but younger men are cute," she whines.

"Whatever," I facepalm.
