Chapter 8:

Your eyes widened with terror.

Colby: Are you okay?

Colby started shaking you and yelling.

Colby: ANSWER ME! WHAT'S WRONG? Y/N!!!!!!

You snapped back into reality and jumped back from Colby screaming at you. You jumped back and your fangs shot out unintentionally. Colby's voice softened.

Colby: What's wrong?

You: What if I told you that you knew the person who changed me?

Colby: Who was it?

You seen the anger in his eyes.

You: Sam.

Colby: What? He's not a vampire.

You: Have you ever seen him change into a wolf?

Colby: No, but that would also explain the unexplained trips he makes every week.

You: the timeline fits, both of the things happened two years ago.

Colby's face drops.

Colby: He came home that night saying he messed up. But, the next day he blamed it all on a prank.

His breathing becomes ragged.

Colby: I'm gonna kill him.

You: Wait, tonight's a full moon tonight, you'll be stronger than him, don't die on me Colby.

Colby: I'm not leaving you, I love you.

You: I love you too, Colby.

Colby: I love me too.

You smacked him playfully.

Colby: Can we cuddle?

You: yeah I guess.

You and Colby cuddled and just talked about some stuff.

Colby: It's not safe for you to be here, alone when I go to kill Sam.

You: What do you mean, I'm coming with you?

Colby: No your not, if you die, I wouldn't be able to live without you. Plus, when Sam hurts you your wounds don't heal. And I may not be able to control myself around you.

You: Colby, if you die, I'll be all alone.

Colby: You won't be alone, you'll have Jake.

You: Be he can't know I'm a vampire.

Colby: so? He's still your family.

You: Yeah, but, it's not the same. Your like my family now.

Colby: Since I'm your "family" Will you be my girlfriend?

You: of course Colby.

Then, you think of Jake.

You: (continued) well I would have to ask Jake first.

Colby: Why?

You: Well... You are 18 and I'm only 17. And it will be illegal if... Well... You know.

Colby: option 1: we could wait. Option 2: I already have a criminal record.

He stared at you with daring eyes, full of anticipation.

Colby: (continued) I prefer option 2.

He started moving closer to you.

You: me too.

He started kissing your neck, which left hickey on you. But then he stopped but his eyes were turning gold again. But his horrifying werewolf teeth shot out and he growled.

He lunged for your neck. Stopping less than a centimeter from your neck. He was so close in fact, his werewolf teeth cut your neck.

You screamed because your neck burned. Colby went back to normal. You couldn't move your hand from your neck. It hurt to much.

Colby: Oh my god what's wrong?

You: Colby, you bit me.

Colby: Let me see.

You move your hand.

Colby: What have I done?

You: it'll be fine okay, I'm pretty sure we have a medical kit somewhere.

Colby: No, I messed everything up. I left out a part of the story. When Sam first realized what he done, he research, and I mean A LOT.

You: So, what does that have to do with this?

Colby: A werewolf bite is fatal to a vampire, and can only be healed by drinking another vampires blood.

You: No, no, no, no, no

Colby: There goes our plan.

You: All we can do is ask.

Colby: I guess we'll find out what happens. But, we are wasting time let's go.
