Chapter 15:

Brennen: Calm down, Jesus it's just me.

You realized that you had told him to come back. Colby was standing on the other side of the bed just not leaned over you.

His hand was touching yours, which was still gripping the sheets. They both looked at you studying your face.

Brennen: You need blood.

He said rolling up his sleeve on his shirt uncovering his wrist.

You: No I don't I just fed yesterday.

Colby: Yes you do. It looks like you haven't fed in days.

You: Well that's what happens when your a slave for weeks Colby.

You snapped at him. Colby looked taken a back. You realized that was the first time you were mean to him. You got out of bed and left the boys in your room while you went to the bathroom.

You kept a change of clothes under the sink in case of emergencies. Of course, this wasn't a emergency, but you still changed into it. After you finished changing, you looked in he mirror, the boys were right, you did need to feed. You went back to your room to apologize

You: I'm sorry Colby, I shouldn't have snapped at you like that and you were right I do need to feed.

Colby: No I'm sorry I need to learn to think before I speak.

You both hug each other and he quickly kisses you.

Brennen: Here, I know it doesn't taste the best.

He extended his arm to you. It tasted worse than you remembered. It tasted like pure metal, like more than usual in blood. You dropped his arm.

You felt it rushing back up. You ran to the bathroom. This time, Brennen and Colby followed you. Jake had to go to work early and he wouldn't be back until around 2 and it was only 8.

You: Well there goes that plan.

Colby: Why did that happen?

You: Probably cause Brennen is a shape shifter.

Brennen: So?

A couple minutes lass without words, only thinking.

You: I got it! Brennen has more of something in his blood normal people don't have as much of. He has more of a metal taste, which vampires I guess can't process

Brennen: That's why my blood doesn't taste good. I knew there was nothing wrong with me.

You: Trust me Brennen, there is something wrong with you.

Colby: Why would this only happen now and not yesterday.

You: I didn't drink as much yesterday.

Brennen: I could go rob a hospital for blood bags.

You: perfect!

Brennen: I'll just shape shifter to look like a doctor.

You: Just don't speak, you'll ruin everything if you do that.

Brennen: Very funny.

You: Spell Mylar.

Brennen: M-I-L-A-R

You: Very impressive, well it would be if it was right.

Brennen: FU**!

You and Colby started laughing very hard.

Brennen: I'll be back with some blood bags.

When Brennen got back he brought a bunch of them.

You: Thanks Brennen.

You drink half of the bag and put it away.

Colby: You need to drink the whole bag y/n.

You: Fine.

Colby: You need to drink a bag a week until your better.

You: Your not my dad Colby.

Brennen: Your right he's your daddy.

You burst out in laughter. You drank the whole blood bag.

You finished hiding the blood bags just in time for Jake to get home.

You: Hey Jake, Colby has a brother, his name is Brennen. Is it okay of I hang out with them?

Jake: Any person okay with Colby is okay with me.

You: Really?

Jake: Yeah. I like that kid, he's really protective over you, just like me.

You: AWESOME!

Jake's pager goes off

Jake: Really? I just got home! Sorry y/n I got to go.

You: okay love ya!

Jake: Love ya!

You walk back to your room which is where the boys were.

Brennen: So? What did he say?

You: He said anyone cool with Colby is cool with him.

Colby: Really?

You: Yeah, he really likes you Colby.

Brennen: Yes! I'm cool!

Colby: Just make sure you come through the door, not the window.

You and Colby laugh getting the inside joke, leaving Brennen confused. obviously, Colby explained your story more in detail after they left, but he didn't go that far in detail apparently.

You and the boys talked and talked and joked and joked until around 8pm

Brennen: We should go. Don't wanna drive home when drunks are out.

Colby: Yeah I guess.

You: okay bye Brennen, love you Colby.

Colby: Love you too.

They both left. You just laid on your bed, daydreaming. Not being able to fall asleep. You didn't even notice Colby can in your room.

Colby: Hey

You: oh hey didn't see ya there.

Colby: Yeah I took Brennen home and he went straight to bed.

You: oh What was that about all that "Don't want to drive home when drunks are out."

Colby: Brennen said that I just agreed. And I walked here.

You: I thought you lived across the street.

Colby: Brennen got a apartment and I moved in with him it's just a few blocks away.

Colby started walking towards you and he kissed you. This time, it became more passionate. He pushed you back on the bed.

You: Colby, remember what happened last time?

Colby: It'll be fine, I taught myself control over my emotions.

You: okay.

This time, you went all the way through with it. You both ended up falling asleep.

You woke up to the ding of your phone it was a message from Colby, which was weird.

Colby:have you seen Brennen?

You heard shuffling in bed next to you. You turned over to face it. Only, it wasn't Colby, it was Brennen.
