Chapter 9:

You and Colby came up with a plan. And here's how it went:

Colby: You ready?

You: yeah, let's save my life.

Colby hit the "call" Button.

Colby: Sam, I f***ed up man.

Sam: what did you do Colby?

Colby: I'll explain everything when I get home.

Sam: okay.

Colby looks at you.

You: What?

Colby: let's go save your life.

He picks you up bridal style and carries you to his house.

Colby: GUYS! OPEN THE DOOR!

Corey opens the door. And you pretend to act dead as the plan went.

Corey: WHAT HAPPENED IS SHE OKAY??

Colby starts crying to make it seem more believable and Elton and Sam come downstairs.

Colby: it's all my fault.

His crying became sobbing.

Elton: Colby, calm down we need to know what happened.

Colby: I was just- and then- she- she-

Sam: COLBY, ENGLISH, PLEASE!

Colby: I accidentally bit her.

Sam: HOW THE HELL DO YOU "ACCIDENTALLY" BITE SOMEONE?

Colby: We got carried away and my hunger came over me and I accidentally bit her.

Corey: She's 17 Colby you could get arrested.

Colby: We just kissed... And I might have left a few hickeys...

Sam: Colby, what are you gonna do?

Colby: I don't know Sam, I love her.

Sam: Colby, if she means that much to you, it's time.

Corey: What are you talking about?

Sam: I'm a vampire, I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner.

*Colby POV*

Everyone started asking questions, but I knew we had to save her, and fast.

Colby: EVERYONE SHUT UP! Sam, if your a vampire, you can save her, please.

Sam: okay.

Sam bit his wrist and gave y/n the blood. But she wasn't taking it.

Colby: Keep trying Sam.

Relief fell over my body as she came alive and drank his blood. After she finished I had to do the thing I had been dreading this whole time.

Colby: Thanks Sam.

He hugged me I started changing.

Colby: I'm sorry Sam... But you don't mess with my girlfriend.

And I bit him.

After I bit him I let him fall to the ground. Y/n jumped up and hugged me.

Y/n: I love you Colby Brock.

Colby: I love you too.

Corey: WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?

*Y/n's POV*

You: Should I explain or should you.

Colby: Go ahead.

You: Well, we were telling our stories of how we changed and I connected two dots that Sam was the one who changed me.

Then, we had a whole other plan but it got interrupted when Colby bit me.

Corey: And how exactly did that happen?

You: He kind of already told you.

Elton: Wait you were serious about that.

Colby:... Yeah...

Elton: She is 17 Colby, how far were you gonna take it?

Colby:... All the way...

Elton: What would you have done if she was pregnant.

Colby: Um be a father... Duh.

Elton: "oh be a father" Colby you don't think do you.

Colby: it's over now, we cannot fix it.

Elton: whatever.

You: well anyway, he bit me and we had to rethink our plan... Quickly.

Elton: and this is what you came up with. I can't lie, that was a pretty smart plan.

You: Well im gonna go back home. And wait for Jake.

Elton: wait, one thing. What are you gonna tell your brother about those hickeys?

My eyes went wide.

You: you can see them?

Elton: yeah.

You shoot a look near Colby.

Colby: oops

You: Jake is gonna kill you.

Colby: I'd like to see him try.

You: he has a gun, keep that in mind when he comes to kill you.

Colby: I will, oh I'll walk you home and stay until Jake gets back.

Elton: oh no your not Colby, your walking her across the street and coming right back.

Colby: but, Uncle Elton

Elton: no Colby, your coming straight back.

Colby: Fine

You and Colby walk across the street.

At the door, he kisses you. And you kiss him back. You keep kissing until Elton opens the door to their house.

Elton: COLBY NOW!

Colby: ugh. FINE, UNCLE ELTON.

You laugh at them.

Colby: I guess I got to go. Text me once you get inside?

You: yeah, love you

Colby: Love you.

You walk inside and see Jake is already inside.

Jake: How did you not tell me you were dating our neighbor?
