I waited a week. Everyone underestimated us. One night, we smuggled Dean and Jess out. We had just started our journey of running. We got on a bus, headed to Colorado, no one knew we left, not even Brennen. Hopefully he will never find us. Only I knew where we were going. We were going to a cabin, in Colorado. Our original plan. There is a magical school, that is kept low profile. You have to go through the woods to get there, but it will be worth it. Dean and Jess will have a good life there. As of right now, when they turn 15, we'll tell them everything, but until their fifteen, they won't know.
We got there safely, set up the rooms, it was the nice life she had always dreamed about. Maybe our story was over, but Dean and Jess's has just begun.
