You: Oh yay I'm so excited.
You said in a clearly not happy voice.
Brennen: Oh cheer up, you have a fun time.
You: You will actually. I will not I'm only doing this for the money.
You pause for a few moments realizing what you just said.
You: Oh god, that sounds so wrong.
You and Brennen both laugh at your unintended joke. After you both stop laughing you realize a question you should have asked a long time ago.
You: Brennen, can I ask you a question?
Brennen: Of course you can sweetness.
You: Why did you act like Colby?
Brennen stopped and looked at the ground clearly blushing.
Brennen: didn't Colby tell you?
You: Yeah but I don't believe that's entirely true.
Brennen: Do you really want to know?
You: Yes.
