Chapter 46:NEW YEAR, NEW CHALLENGES🌟

The following day, we went shopping after breakfast. The boys wanted to do a barbecue that night so we had to buy ingredients for it. We returned to the bungalow at around 13 00. Fortunately, we bought some fast food on the way back so we had lunch as soon as we arrived...

Jin and Suga were then busy preparing the food while we were trying to figure out how to light the barbecue grill.😅 We finally succeeded after having struggled with it for about 45minutes, just in time as Jin was bringing the meat. Jimin stayed outside to help him while Jungkook and I went to help Suga inside. V and RM were deciding on where they would place the fireworks and which ones they would light up and J-hope was supervising them, by standing some two metres away from them.😂 I went to tease him by telling him that he's a coward and he retorted: "No I'm not afraid. I'm just feeling cold, that's why I didn't go out with them. But I'm looking after them. Don't worry!😌"

It was then finally night and the view was even more beautiful. The sky was full of stars that day. Tae-hyung and I sat down on the terrace to admire them and the others joined us some time later. The neighbouring village was all lit up and it made the surroundings even more wonderful. We went inside to have dinner and went back out. "This seems like a dream!😍" I told the others and they all agreed with me.

I later asked them if they wanted hot chocolates and they nodded so I went inside to get them some. We were having a really peaceful moment. RM then told me: "It was a good idea to come here for the New Year. Thank you." I smiled at him and J-hope added, laughing: "Well we should thank V for dating you! Because if you were not here, we would never have come to Germany so often!😂" I laughed and Tae replied, looking at me lovingly: "Yeah... that's right... many things changed since she's here."

"She became a part of our BTS family and we're lucky to have her." Jungkook added and everyone agreed on that.

I was really touched and replied: "Thank you. I'm glad that I form part of your family and I'm really happy to have friends like you.😊"

It was then almost midnight so RM and V went to light up the fireworks and Jin and J-hope came near me. I laughed at them but then confessed: "It's okay. In fact, I'm also scared of fireworks.😅"
They were shocked by this confession and we ended up laughing at ourselves. RM and V finally lighted the fireworks and V ran to us, shouting: "Happy New Year! Happy New Year!"

We had a group hug and then admired all the fireworks together. After that, J-hope said: "We should come here more often. It's amazing." Jungkook then added: "Yeah... in fact... we must come to Germany more often." Jimin continued, looking at me: "You should also come to Korea more often." Everyone replied: "Yeah" together and they all started talking at the same time. I could not understand anything of what they were saying and they were not hearing me when I was calling them. They were getting so excited and I felt horrible that I had to tell them something which will make their excitement vanish...😕

"Guys... Guys... Guys..." I kept trying to get their attention. Then I got irritated and ended up yelling: "GUYS!!!" They finally stopped talking and were now looking at me, perplexed. I then said:

"I've got something to tell you..."

All their smiles droppped and V, worried, asked: "What happened?"

"As you know, I'll be graduating soon... so I thought that it would be a good idea if I start to get some experience... therefore I applied for some jobs and... I finally got an internship at the place where I always wanted to work!" I confessed hesitantly.

They started smiling and exclaimed: "Wow! That's good news. Congratulations!😊" and then added, confused: "But why do you seem so sad about it?"

"Well... it means that I won't have time to come to Korea now and won't be able to look after you if you come to Germany.😪"

I then looked at Tae-hyung and said: "And it will become even more difficult for us to talk. Maybe we won't even have time to call each other at all now."
I was on the verge of tears.
He came to me, took me in his arms and said: "Don't be sad. I'm sure we will find a way to spend time together and also, this is temporary, after graduation you'll have a little more free time... I'm happy that you got your internship. In fact, we are all happy for you.😌" I looked at them and they all smiled at me to reassure me.

We then went to sleep since they had to go back the following day...
