Chapter 1

On November 7th Isaiah Adams became my best friend . We have been so close the last few weeks it's like I have known him all my life . We FaceTime and IM all the time . I love him to death . He came over today and we hung out . We normally play xbox and just hang out . I am more than glad I have met him . Honestly I don't know if I would be alive if it wasn't for him .

Today is December 3rd and Isaiah is coming over today . I haven't really talked to Gabby in a couple of days . Isaiah comes in my room and smirks . I know he has a idea .

"We are going somewhere ," he says .

"Uh okay " I say , "where ?"

He jolts towards me and grabs my wrist , "Come on Jess don't be such a ninny ."

"Fine , come on ."

We hop on his Motoroza 400 and he hands me my specialized helmet . It says Isaiah's BFF on the side . He's a complete dork.

We " arrive " at a gas station and he jumps off to blindfold me . At first I jerk backwards because this is how Luke started to abuse me is by putting on a blindfold . I remind myself this is Isaiah and I can trust him . I hear the bike starting back up and feel the wind racing through my hair . I hear our favorite song blasting through his tiny stereo over the sound of the wind . Soon , we are there . I still have no clue where but we are there . He grabs my hand and pulls me off his motorcycle . We walk up to some type of gate and he holds me tight . I can now smell him and feel his warmth . I love him so much . He pulls off my blindfold to reveal a huge surprise to me . We are standing in front of a silent crowd of people . They all step to the sides to reveal a carnival . This makes me wonder if he planned the entire thing for me . He pulls my arm as we run through the crowd . We board the nearest ride ; a Ferris wheel . We reach the top and he starts uttering words .

"I love you so much , I am so glad I met you . You mean everything to me and I don't want to lose you . You have to promise me that when you are ready you will tell someone else about Luke ."

I go from a smile to a small frown .

"I will , but you have to promise me you won't leave , " I manage to make out before I start to cry .

"Oh , trust me I won't Jessie I love you more than words can describe . I would never do that ," he utters as I move in closer and bury my face in his chest .

When we reach the bottom and get off he says, " I want to show you something . "

We run to a stage . He pulls me on . We have an inside joke that involves high school musical . The sun is starting to set and we are just standing there as a crowd starts to form .

He speaks into the microphone and says , " I want you all to meet the girl I planned this for , Jessie." I can't help but smile when he says this, "She is my best friend and we are going to sing a song for you guys . "

I stutter , " Oh no we're not . "

"Oh yes we are , " he says , " We'd like to sing soaring by zac Efron and Vanessa hudgens . "

The band and crowd starts roaring and I show a smile . He starts off the first verse and I sing along . By the last verse we are so into it I don't even know there is a crowd there .

He mutters , "You know the world can see us . "

I finish with, "In a way that's different than who we are . "

By this time we are staring into each others eyes when he looks down at me and says " I love you " .

He draws in closer and so do I . I know it's right I just can't believe it . His lips touch mine in a way that makes fireworks explode everywhere . He puts his hands on my face as if to show me he loves me . It's perfect . It's like a dream . The crowd cheers and shouts .

He pulls back gently and mutters into my ear , " I love you Jessie , always have , always will . "

I layed down with Isaiah as soon as I got to his house . Being there , makes me feel like I'm at home . Right there , on his futon in his basement , I fell asleep to soft jazz and his arms wrapped around my nerve filled body . This was a perfect way to end my birthday .
