Heaven was a croweater, a favorite among many of the Sons due to both her willingness to change to a Son's need, and her ability to be an outlet. Every Son had his "Heavenly phase" in which they needed the raven haired beauty the most, but that all changed when Happy found his way into her bed.
It started out as most other times; Son needed to blow off steam and to be comforted, she delivered in spades. He needed her after a break up with a long term girlfriend, he was told Heaven was the one that he would want, and oh did he. She was perfect, loving and caring, submissive to a fault but so fiesty that he knew she could take care of herself.
One night turned into two dozen, soon they had a routine and a schedule of coming by every night after work, calling first to make sure that she didn't need anything. They grew close, sharing secrets and intimacy that they had found nowhere else. Happy was spending every night in her apartment, making it nearly impossible for any other Son to get close.
After being her only Son for six months, in her eyes that was a long term relationship. She had fallen head over heels for the Tacoma Killer. She didn't want another Son anymore, she just knew it was a matter of time before she became an Old Lady. Her mind danced with ideas of wedding plans, tattoo plans, baby names. She wanted it all, and she wanted it with Happy.
"Little girl, I'm on my way over, need me to pick anything up?" Happy's scratchy voice came over her burner cell.
"Just some more condoms if we'll be needing any. And some smokes. I have your favorite already in the oven." Heaven had to admit that she was falling for Happy, many of the Sons never stuck around for this long at a time. Juice was the second runner up, but they only spent rough weekends together when his mental disorders got the better of him.
"Okay no problem. See ya."
"Love you." the words slipped before she could keep them, she hung up the phone on reflex, her blood running cold. That was not how she planned to break that.
When he didn't show up, she knew that she fucked up. She sent him a text; "Sorry for freaking you out". When she got no reply, she knew where she stood- by herself.
She immediately called up the next one in line, Jax. Jax was the one that she went to when she needed her wounds licked, his tounge always soothed her.
"Hey angel, everything okay?"
"No." her voice cracked, she was crying.
"On my way." His bike was in her drive in ten minutes, fifteen minutes after the phone hung up, he was cuddling her. "You just scared him, Darlin'."
"How is it that I get myself into this? Normally it's one of you dumbasses falling for me." she sniffled, letting her tears soak his hoodie.
"Baby girl, snap out of it. You're Heaven McClanahan for Christ sake, Princess of Samcro." he rubbed wide circles on her back. "Any man would kill to have you as his Old Lady."
"Oh yeah, then why is the only man I said I love you to besides my Daddy running scared?" she dug her fingers into the sweat shirt, clinging to something solid and warm.
He pulled her completely into his lap, crushing her almost into him. Heaven was someone that held the club together, almost like Gemma. He needed to fix this before this affects everyone, which it would.
When she had came into the Charter, Gemma automatically put her to work behind the bar, and she stuck around. Family dinners, lock downs, runs. She had been Queen Bees second in command going on three years. She had slept with Jax first after a wormy situation with the Myans. Word got around about how attentive she was- Chibs was next. Everyone held their fascination with Heaven, all of them wanted her but knew that she wasn't the one for them to keep. Being a croweater was a lonely life, but Heaven lived it gracefully. She was tasteful, compassionate- everything a croweater was not minus the sex. Now when it was time to make a move, she was second guessing everything she ever did while acompanying the mother charter's resident hit man.
"Come on, we're going to church."
They went to the club house, Happy was in the corner with Ima on his lap. "Wait here, don't step in." Jax kissed her forehead and let go of her waist. He walked up to the pair snuggling in the corner. "Take a walk." he told the blonde, who stood up and walked away without question. "Okay so is Heaven fair game or what? Because I'm about to crow her, but I know she's your favorite and I'd like to respect my brother."
"Stay away from her." Happy's eyes were borring into Jax's jacket that was around Heaven's shoulders.
"Is she fair game or not man. I've been trying to get this for six months but you've been hogging her."
"She's mine god damn it! Don't fucking touch her!" Happy jumped up, pointing a finger in Jax's face.
"Tacoma Killah getting hormonal over a crow eater." Jax smirked, "Go. Tell her. Or I'll make it so nobody can."
Happy's shoulders slumped. "She doesn't need me. She doesn't need the tag."
"But she wants it. She wants you. She comes crying to me, begging me to fix it because she told you she loved you and you pushed her away. Fucking fix it man."
Happy looked over again at the Samcro princess. She was beautiful, waist length dark hair, alabaster skin, dark eyes. He sighed, "She deserves more than this Jax. She deserves to be wifed up somewhere with babies. Not wondering when or if her old man is coming home." he ran his hand over his bald head. "Things are so simple between us, it's like breathing. What if me making her my old lady fucks it."
"Hap, who do you take to family dinner?"
"Heaven."
"Who rides on your bitch pad like it was made for her, like it belongs to her?"
"She does."
"She would die for this family, for this club. This is her life to, you don't need to protect her from this. She would just settle for another brother."
The brothers' conversation was cut short, all of a sudden all you could hear was women screaming. Happy's eyes darted over to see Heaven, on top of Ima. "Heaven!"
She couldn't hear him, she was too busy busting Ima's nose into the floor.
"He's mine, bitch!" Ima screamed, trying to get out from under the other woman's weight to no avail.
Heaven finally stopped, spitting in Ima's face before storming off into the office, into the arms of Gemma.
It was only two minutes before Gemma came crashing out of the office, "Happy Lowman!"
Jax's eyes went wide, "Oh shit! Gotta go!" he grabbed his jacket and started to walk away.
"You too, Jackson." the momma bear was enraged, no one was safe. She looked at Happy first. "What the fuck do you think you're doing messing with Heaven's heart like that?! Don't you know she's not your average run of the mill cocksucker? She's mine." She then turned to her son. "And you, leaving her alone with Ima knowing she'd fight for him. Dumb asses, both of you. Now I have a young woman crying in my office, I will give you two five minutes to fix this before I shoot both of you. Got it?"
"Yeah ma." both grown men acknowledged what she was saying, running off toward the office before the ass kicking insued.
"Go, deal with your business." Jax said when they approached the office.
"My business?"
Jax looked at him hard, "Deal with it, or I promise you I will and you won't like it."
Happy needed no more encouragement. He opened the door and walked in, seeing Heaven a mess on the floor shook him, made him sit beside her. "I'm sorry I fucked up like this. You don't deserve that."
"You don't have to pity me, Hap. If you don't love me, you don't. It's fine." he could tell she was crying, but her curtain of hair hid it well.
"But I do." he sighed, pulling her into him.
"Do what?"
"Love you, it's always been you little girl, from the first bight I've been hiding feelings. I love you. More than I should."
Heaven looked up at him, her eyes glossy. "Really?"
"Yeah really, now come on Old Lady. We got something to do."
He splayed her out over the pool table, shirt off positioned on her stomach. When he put the stencil down, Jax looked wide eyed.
"Hap, that's huge."
He wasn't wrong, wingspan and all it covered her shoulders. "Yeah but so is my love. Ready for this, little girl?"
She nodded, she didn't care how big. It was still Happy's crow, and she would wear it with pride.
