Jax could never pin down exactly what made him so crazy for you. It wasn't anything physical, though he did appreciate your body. It was more about the simple things, like how you always smelled good, or how you alway had dinner waiting for him when he came home from the club, and how you always had Abel bathed and fed by the time he got home on his late nights. Or maybe it was the way that you handled yourself that drove him wild. He had still yet to figure it out, but he knew that he loved you, with everything in him. That's why as he sat there, playing with the ring in his hands and waiting for you to get home, his stomach was alive with butterflies and his heart was beating a mile a minute. You always did this to him, and it scared the hell out of him. He had never loved another woman as much as you. Not Wendy, hell, not even Tara. He heard the front door squeak open and he hastily threw the ring in his pocket, turning to you. "Hey babe, how was your day." he said, trying to keep the nervous tone from his voice as you neared him. "It was pretty good, but it's better now because i'm home with you." she said leaning over and kissing him. "Well aren't you sweet." he said with a smile as he watched you flop down on the couch. "Where's Abel?" you asked, confused at not seeing your little man, who normally greeted you at the door. "Oh, I had Gemma take him for the evening. I wanted a little alone time with my woman." he said flopping down next to you and throwing an arm over your shoulders. "Awh, that's sweet of you." you said, pecking his cheek. You could tell by the way he was acting that there was an ulterior motive, but you knew not to pry when things came to Jax, he would tell you when he was ready. You just hoped it wasn't anything bad. "So what are we doing this evening Mr.Teller?" you asked, excited to see what Jax had planned. "Well I cooked your favorite meal and I got your favorite flick so I just thought that we could hang out at home." he said, giving you that million dollar smile. "Sounds great baby." you said giving him a sweet kiss. As he stood up and led the way to the kitchen you couldn't help but wonder what he had hidden up his sleeve. *****Time Skip***** After a very wonderful night of movies and good food you were more than ready to just curl up next to Jax and go to sleep. That was until you went to get up off the couch and he captured your wrist in his hand, a nervous glint in his eyes. "Can I ask you somethin' (y/n)?" You looked at him confused for a moment before you sat back down. "Of course baby, ask away." You would be lying if you said that you didn't feel the least bit nervous. "Okay so we've been together for a while now and I love you very much. You're a great Old Lady, a great mom, and you always know how to handle things when you're thrown your way. That's why I'm asking you (y/f/n) (y/l/n), will you spend the rest of your life with me?" he asked, nothing but pure love in his eyes. You were so shocked that all you could do was nod your head enthusiastically as he slipped the ring on your finger and pulled you into a hug, spinning you around. "I love you baby." he said, giving you a sweet kiss after he put you down. That was until you landed a solid punch onto his upper bicep. "Ow! What the hell was that for?!" he asked, confused, as he rubbed the now sore spot on his arm. "That was for scaring me! I thought you were going to break up with me or something." you explained with wide eyes. "No baby, I wasn't going to break up with you." he chuckled. "Good. Oh! I have to go call Gemma!" you exclaimed, running to the bedroom. Jax just laughed as he watched you run towards their bedroom, almost tripping over a few of Abel's toys that were left in the hallway. He still didn't understand you but it was okay, because now, he had the rest of his life with you to try and figure you out.
