Here's some advice for the next one
Don't let him lead you to the dark
Don't tell him all your secrets
He'll leave you with a broken heart

You sighed at the girl sitting across the bar staring longingly at Jax as he made out with a Croweater. You didn't even need to ask why she was looking at him like that, the answer was evident, he had brought her here to "hang out" and she had been left to fend for herself about 20 minutes in.
The reason you didn't have to ask was because you had been there before.
When your's and Kozik's relationship had started to falter you had been left in the same position.
"Hey." you called, trying to catch her attention.
She turned her head to look at you and that was when you saw it, the innocence in her face.
You knew right then that you needed to get that girl out of here because in this life she would do nothing but get her heart broken.
"Wanna go for a smoke?" you asked pulling that pack of cigarettes from your back pocket and presenting them.
She took one last look back at Jax and nodded to you, following you out the door.
Once you had gotten out there and light you two's cigarettes you took a deep breath before giving her your speech.
"How long have you and Jax been messin' around?" you asked taking a drag of your cigarette and blowing out, waiting for her to answer.
"A couple of weeks. I know it may sound stupid but i think I'm falling in-"
"You're not." you said standing directly in front of her and removing the cigarette from your mouth.
"Sweetheart I can tell you right now that you don't know what it's like to love one of these men. It's not a normal love, it's a love of secrets and lies and you just end up hurt, with a broken heart." You said watching as she lowered her head in shame.

Darling I know that you're just like me
You give your love up way too fast

"How do you know?" she asked timidly .
   "Were you a girlfriend?"
You shook your head and looked her in the eyes before answering.
"No, I was an Old Lady. That guy with the big biceps and blonde hair, he was mine for 3 years." you said your voice suddenly going quiet.
"What happened?" she asked sounding sad.
"I was just like you, had a lot going for me, and I threw it all away on him. As soon as I met him I gave him my everything. He did the same thing in return for a while, we were in love. That was until he met a very young and very whorish stripper with whom he did some very sinful actions with." you said chuckling at the last part.
"How can you laugh about it?" she asked with wide eyes.
"You can't hate someone forever. That and I didn't blame him, he's a biker, commitment doesn't come easy to him, or any of them, for that matter. Trying to get one of these boys to commit to one woman for the rest of their life is like trying to teach a fish to climb a tree, useless and disappointing." you elaborated, hoping that what you were saying was getting through to her.

Don't wanna say I told you so
So please go now

"I don't want to see what happened to me happen to you sweetheart." you said placing a hand on her shoulder only to  have her look at you, fear in her eyes.
"What am I supposed to do? I'm only 18, I have no money, no home, I came here with Jax from Arizona. I ran away, and now I have nowhere to go." she said bursting into tears.
Your heart broke at the sight of her tears and you pulled her into a hug, letting her sob on your shoulder.
"I'll tell you what, how about I drive you to the bus station. You can call your parents on the way there and tell them you're sorry and that you're on your way home." you said tucking the hair that had fallen in front of her face behind her ear.
"There's no point. I don't have money  to buy a ticket." she said wiping the smeared make-up from underneath her eyes.
"But I do." you said giving her a small smile.
   "I can't let you-"
"Yes, you can, and you will." you said not lifting the intensity of your gaze until she nodded in agreement.
"Good, now go get your stuff. I'll meet you in my car." you told her, pointing to your beat up old pickup sitting in the corner of the lot.
She nodded and you two parted ways.
   *****Time Skip*****
"Okay mom, I love you too, see you soon." she said before hanging up the phone as you pulled into the bus station parking lot.
"Thank you." she said handing your phone back.
"No problem sweet cheeks." you said parking the truck and getting out, watching as she got out and grabbed her bag.
The whole time you two were going through the process of buying the ticket she never spoke.
That was until 20 minutes later when her bus arrived.
"Thank you." she said, taking you by surprise and embracing you.
"You're welcome." you replied, smiling as she pulled away.
"If you ever need anything I put my number on the back of the ticket. Don't be afraid to call." you said watching her pick up her bag.
"I will." she said before getting on the bus and taking a seat.
Part of you was jealous that she got to leave but the other part knew that you could never leave, this was your life now.
   *****Back at the clubhouse*****
You sighed as you sat on the picnic table outside and ran a hand through your hair.
"Hey sweets, what're you up to " Kozik asked, coming out of the clubhouse and sitting next to you.
"Nothin' just had to go take care of somethin'."  you said, taking the beer he held out to you.
"I know what you did for that girl." he said staring you in the eyes.
"She needed it, she was only going to get her heart broken round' here." you said not breaking the gaze.
"Like you did?" he asks quietly, dropping his head in guilt.
"Exactly, she doesn't need to go through life wondering if the man she loves is going to come home to her at night." you said, meaning every word.
"I'm sorry that happened (y/n)." he said grabbing your hand and lacing your fingers.
"But it happened Kozik. I've never been mad at your for it but I'm going to keep any girl that I can from going through the same thing." you said, your voice never wavering.
He just nodded and got up, slipping his hand gently from yours.
He kissed you on the forehead before giving you a slight smile and walking back into the clubhouse.
As you watched him walk away you could feel it flare up inside of you, the warm feeling of love, that you would never lose for that man because you knew that there would always be a part of you that belonged to Kozik.
There would always be a part of you that still loved him.
