I've always held on
It's time to let go
I've never been good at saying goodbye
But this time I'll try
You're my sister
Not by blood
I still love you anyway
You listened to my nagging and complaints
Dealt with my dramatic self without complaining
I always admired that
You hugged me each time I cried
Listened to all the nonsense I had to say
Scolded me when I was wrong
Helped me out with my novels
Made me feel loved when I felt alone
Didn't judge my messed up personality
I loved that
You've got a bright future ahead
Whatever you do will be great
One day if ever we stop talking then just look at this poem
It'll be a reminder of how much I appreciated you
I'm the kind of person who never forgets the good or the bad that people have done to me
And you're the one I adore the most out of all of them
How will I ever forget you?
