The summer before freshman year was more drama than relaxing. The one day that really stood out was the day my cousin Megan came over. Megan had Cancer since she was 14. She just turned 21 recently.
Anyways, she was over at my Nanas house and we were all in the pool. I was talking to Megan about all the drama and what people were saying about me. She stopped me in the middle of my story and said 'Your beautiful no matter what. With your Hourglass figure If you are big or small your still the same beautiful girl.' I smiled and told her thank you. When she was leaving i gave her a huge hug. That was the last time i saw her.
High School came around and it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. I may sound like a nerd, but the teachers were great so were the classes! But the people there were so bitchy and preppy. But as of right now everything is good:)
On November 18 my mom got a call saying Megan was in the Hospice. A Hospice is pretty much where you go to die. My mom went to visit her on the 20th and i had to stay home and babysit. I wanted to see her just one last time to say thank you again and tell her I love her.
On the 21st I logged onto Facebook and her sister Emily posted: My Sister Went this Morning at 1:16a.m. Im glad shes in a better place.' I walked in to my moms room, she was still sleeping. i woke her up and told her that Megan was gone. We sat their for a good 25min just crying. I was more mad that i found out thru FUCKEN FACEBOOK! Thats not something you post.
I went to school the day of Megan's Funeral. i had already missed a week, I was sitting in Art when my teacher came over and asked where i was and blah blah blah. I told her and she started crying and told me that she was so sorry. She asked about the funeral and i told her that it was today. She told me i should go home.
That night we were at her funeral... Tho it wasnt a funeral. It was more of a party, because thats what Megan wanted. At the end of the day Megan will Forever be 21.
Love and miss you<3
