Chapter 19 What to get...: Flame

I walked around the city for a while until I got to a chocolate shoppe.

Luckily, it was still open.

So I opened the first set of double doors, and the first thing I notice, is there is so much noise. Like chatting and stuff.

Then I notice the smell of freshly baked chocolates.

Mmm!!

I opened the second set of double doors and see beautifully decorated shelves with plates of chocolate on them.

I look around the light pink painted room and then I see it.

Chocolate almonds.

I walk over to them and look at the price.

Free! Free chocolates!

Yesssssss!

Then I remember my first Christmas with Aqua.

(Kindergarten)

"Hey, Aqua!" I run up to my friend in my winter clothes. "Aqua! Aqua!"

"Huh?" Aqua turns her head to me in confusion then smiles and waves. "Oh, hey Flame!"

I'm holding a light pink box with a yellow ribbon tied onto it.

I'm about to say something but then I slip on a big frozen puddle.

I land flat on my face. And it hurts.

"Flame!" Aqua comes running towards me. "Man, that was a good fall. Are you okay?" she kinda laughs.

I look up and see her pretty smile.

I blush but shake it off.

"Yeah. I wanted to give you a Christmas present." I handed Aqua the pink box in my hands and she took it.

"Hey. I got you something too! I hope ya don't mind if it was made by me!" she shakes the box a little.

I sit up. "Hope ya like sweets."

See, I knew she loved sugar, so I got her chocolate almonds.

Aqua pulled the bow carefully.

The lid popped up and onto the Icy ground.

She stared at the chocolate almonds That I carefully organized.

They were homemade.

She picked one up and put it in her mouth.

Aqua scrunched her eyes for a minute, then her whole face lot up.

"I'm in heaven." She sighed. "These. Are. So. Good."

Then she pulled out a small red box with a green bow tied perfectly onto it and handed it to me.

I opened it and a furry brown scarf sat folded neatly inside.

I picked it up and wore it.

It LITERALLY felt like a kitten sitting along my neck.

Aqua belt down beside me. "Thank you." She smiled and blushed a little.

Now, I never see her blush, so this must've been really special to her.

I look down at my knees.

Then, out of nowhere, I feel a soft feeling on my cheek.

I then realize that Aqua kissed my cheek.

I touch my cheek where she kissed me, and of course I blush at that.

My cheeks turn red at the thought of kindergarten.

After a while of looking, I bought a bag of almonds and ingredients for making homemade chocolate.

I put all the groceries on the kitchen counter and sorted through them.

I got all the tool and stuff ready and the ingredients out.

It was go time.
