19. Unpleasant Thoughts

        Harry’s POV

After school the lads and I went over to Niall’s Flat to relax and get ready for the game tonight. To be honest I was quite nervous the season has already started and this will be my first game. However, I had other things to be worried about.

“Harry..Harry!” I heard one of the lads voice yell and I looked up and saw that it was Zayn. He was sitting on the couch next to me waving his hand in front of my face. “Are you alright?”

I blinked at him and turned to look around the room and they all had a worried look on their faces. I shook my head but said nothing.

“What’s the matter?” Niall asked placing is coke down on the table. I took in a deep breath and spoke.

“I just have a lot on my mind. I mean, I am so incredibly happy that Elizabeth is my girlfriend. You know that I would do anything for her. I know we just got together but still, you all know how long I have wanted her.  Elizabeth seems happy as well, she wants me. I never thought that someone would want me”

“Harry, everyone deserves someone to love” Louis said shaking his head at me interrupting my rant. I simply gave him a nod and continued.

“I know, but what if she finds out the truth and won’t want me?” I said leaning over placing my elbows on my knees shaking my head. “What if it changes everything? I want to be honest with her; I don’t want to have to hide a part of me from her. That is not what relationships are about, they are built from trust and honesty.” I said my voice shaky.

“Mate, I do agree that you have to be honest with her. I was like you when I barely meet Sophia.” Liam said with a nod. ‘We all thought the same way when we meet our girls for the first time.”

“Yea Harry, just because right now Molly is on a trip doesn’t mean that I don’t worry about her.” Niall said chiming in. “I was nervous to and it did come as a shock to her but she grown used to it and now we are closer than ever.” I stayed quiet but listened to every word that they were all saying trying to make sense of things.

‘The point is that no matter what you choose to do just take it a step at a time. No matter what you do we will be with you every step of the way” Zayn said giving me a reassuring smile.

‘Yea, you’re probably right” I said smiling feeling a weight of worries lift off my shoulders. “Okay, first step: I need to see if she is the one.”
