87. Trapped

Harry’s POV

I groaned and opened my eyes looking up at the sky, blinking a few times trying to adjust my vision.  I lay feeling the coldness off the snow slip through my jacket. I stay there for a second then I remember what happened and quickly sat up ignoring the pain I felt over my body, it’ll heal anyways.

“Elizabeth!” I yelled slowly standing up and glanced up looking at the hill that we just rolled off from. I felt a lump in my throat and turned around seeing the car a few feet away from me. The car was upside down and Elizabeth was still inside, all of the windows were shattered.

Elizabeth’s POV

I blinked feeling blood rushing to my head. I realized now that I was upside down still attached into my seat.  I pushed my hair away from my face taking off my beanie letting it fall.

“Harry” I looked over to his side but he wasn’t there and I started to panic. “Harry!”

Where is he? What happened to him?

I felt something run down my nose and I lifted my hands underneath my nose to ouch it with my fingertips. I felt something wet smear onto them and I pulled my hand back to examine it. In the dim light I saw blood, the smell of it made me want to throw up.

Tears started to run down my face as I started to get more anxious trying to undo my seatbelt but it wouldn’t budge.  I looked out through the broken glass window on my side of the car and saw footsteps running towards me.

“Elizabeth!” I hear a raspy voice say as he kneeled down onto the ground to look through.

“Harry” I whimpered.

“Shh, it’s okay baby” He soothed reaching over touching my cheek, caressing it with his thumb. “Looks like you’re stuck” he said examining his eyes over me trying to figure how to get me out.

“It’s my seatbelt Harry… I can’t” I sobbed as I tugged onto it. “It won’t come off.”

“Shh, I’m going to get you out” He said with tears running down his face, looking straight into my eyes. He glances down and clears his throat then looks back up at me. “Put your hands on the roof for me, baby” I slowly nodded, placing my shaking hands in the cold metaled roof.

“Harry!” I hear a distant voice say, I think it sounded like a female.

“Yea, we are down here!” Harry yells looking up.

“Who’s that?” I asked my voice breathless and panicky. Harry glances back down at me.

“It was Eleanor. They’re coming down here” he said as calmly as possible but you could still hear a bit of concern in his voice.

“What happened?” I hear someone ask, I think it was Liam.

Harry scowled, more tears running down his face. I scanned my eyes to examine his, his bottom lip had blood on it and there was a scratch on his forehead.

“I don’t have time to explain!” He growled. “Just help me get her out!” He closed his eyes letting out a deep breathe. “Please” He added in a softer voice.

“I’m calling the ambulance” I hear Sophia say.

I started to feel claustrophobic being stuck in her and I started to sob, feeling a bit dizzy. My whole body started to shake.

“It’s okay, baby. We’re going to get you out” Harry sniffed, looking at me. I nodded and saw Niall and Liam lean down next to Harry.

“Okay, we are going to pull at her seat belt and you pull her out” Liam instructed Harry and he nodded.

Alright, one…two…three” Liam said and they both tugged at the seatbelt, unbuckling it. I groaned when I hit the ground and Harry gently pulled me out and stood up, holding me in his arms.

“Ellie, is anything broken?” I hear Zayn ask I shook my head trying to keep my eyes open. I don’t feel nothing that painful, I just feel dizzy. My legs gave out and Harry quickly held me up.

“Elizabeth” Harry said urgently and placed his hand under my chin making me look up at him. Even if my eyes were droopy I could still see that he was crying. I closed my eyes a few tears falling down my cheeks.

“Baby, look at me” Harry said trying to keep me awake pressing his forehead against mine.

“Hmm” I hummed at him as he scooped me into his arms leaning me against his chest. I felt Harry’s lips kiss at my temple before I fully closed my eyes and blacked out.
